    As Seamus has said, if all goes to plan the Vulcan will be at RIAT, debuting at Waddo the week before. Have a look here Mike for what you can expect at RIAT.

    Unless I've misread the topic, the Sabra and Meteor are down to display at Biggin, not Southend. The Vulcan will also not be at Biggin and looks as though it'll make its first flying display at Waddo.

    Supposedly this Tornado used to wear the 9803 code. Strange!

    I really like the roundel on the bottom of the Hawk, and don't think the go faster stripes are that bad. I reckon it'd look better if the stripes weren't interrupted by the Royal Air Force logo. I can think of worse schemes the Hawk has worn, such as the chav Hawk in 2005!

    Was the recce nose on the ex-Swedish machine taken off of a different type of aircraft and attached to the Draken for instructional purposes? It certainly doesn't look like the Danish RF-35 nose.

    There was a load of info about 558's flights over on UKAR and Fighter Control this week. I'm pretty sure even TVOC had some info on the flights on their website!

    Really good stuff there John. I saw her over Waddo after she departed CBY, not being able to remember seeing a Vulcan fly it was a pretty amazing sight.

    56 are moving on to the Sentinel now. Not quite sure how it'll work, but I've heard the aircraft won't carry 56Sqn markings as the squadron will work in a similar fashion to 54Sqn on the Sentry's.

    Interesting piccies. Don't often see many images of Serbian aircraft aside from the Orao and Super Galeb.

    They're formation lights. They glow in the dark to make it easier when an aircraft is flying at night with other aircraft.
