  1. Hi Sean,

Just to clarify; Do you mean the panel line detail being lost on the spine of the jet as you eliminate the seam between the left and right fuselage halves? If so, then I can share my methods.

There are after market decals for the "other" overall blue FGR.2 belonging to 19 Sqn here:

I'm not aware of any sheets for the 92 Sqn aircraft as you have built, however I do still have the RoG kit decals for this scheme (which are excellent by the way!). You are welcome to these if you want them. Cheers,

    Ed

    Yep On the Spine Ed

I've never been any good at 1/48 scale ,

But If you dont need the Decals I'd love them

    many thanks Sean

  2. Ok Guys I have a Dilema here

Below you will see pictures of my Badley built 1/48 Hase FGR2

Which I managed to build badly

Due to the kit having as I call them side by side Fuselage bits all the detail has been lost

I.E The round bits on top

how do I go about re-doing these ??

And is there any AM Decals of this bird anywhere

  3. Looking good so far

I did do a FGR2 But did the Blue version , I'm now wondering wether to re do it again

so I'll be taking notes on this

but I do have a question , how the hell to you re-do the circles on top of the fuselage ?

My main gripe with these hase kits is

they stick all that detail on top of the fuselage Knowing full well , its all going to dissapear once you start sanding to get rid of the seam line ,,

but looking forward to seeing more progress

  4. Snap. I took some very similar pictures in October last year (posted a few on ARC).

Small, but very interesting and the people there know their stuff and have time for a chat.

How is the Hurricane coming on? The port wing was ready for it's lower skin when I was there.

    cheers

    Grant

    I think its Finished

I put up a walk around about 30 plus pictures

You can check their site HERE

  5. Well I have been stealing bits from the old build , To save me doing them again

But I stripped out the old pit , then took the paint off

Now this is the funny thing ... Same kit but the detail on the new kit I have is better than the old one

anyway Given it an airbrushing .. I'll do some detail work on that soon

Spent quite a bit of the day scribing .. hopefully i'll have the back end and wings all assembled today :analintruder:
