  1. If you got from Banzeye...that be me then! I found that I sold a few just before New Year, then struggled right through until mid Feb. If your selling a completed version it must be even tougher!
  2. This is really very nicely done. I love your weathering and shading. Excellent job. I notice that you had this done early Jan...wouldn't of bought it off eBay would ya?
  3. Thanks very much John and guys. This has been of enormous help. The article was very useful and gave a much better insight into what should be used. Excellent. I hadn't thought of the WEM stuff.
  4. OK, so having just read Gunpowders thread...I am building the P-47D-25-RE, Christensens's Miss Fire, I'm sure you'll all know the one...anyhow, I am confused by the interior colour I should be using. After spraying and weathering a darkish green, the chaps at the club, after a sharp intake of breath, all said it was too dark. Should it be Chromate green???or that blueish green colour??? So, what should I be using and what paints are guys using? Is there a close Humbrol, Hannants, Tamiya, Gunze paint out of the 'jar' or do I need to mix something?? or, should I stick to building cars!... Paul.
  5. Can I add my 1/12th Ducati 888?? I have build pics from when it was just a bunch of sprues!!
  6. Oh yes...excellent subject. I have this kit too, it should be my next 1/12th car biuld to sit along side my 312T. I used Tamiya's reissued decals on my kit and the was very little bleed from the 'white's. Those Tabu ones should be fine. I'll be keeping a watch on this build for sure.
  7. I must congratulate you guys on some outstanding and simply excellent work and, some orginal display ideas, to me anyhow. Brilliant stuff. I do love the ODS paint shemes though..
  8. You could try this stuff for your orange and blue... GT40 paints...
  9. This is really good Neil. You've done a great job on the paintwork, excellent and realistic painting of the engine and greasy bits, and restrained detailing makes for a superb model. I think you should display this with the fairing off, make some sort of stand thingy for it. Well done.
