  1. Congratulations to the Avon club, a great show for the IPMS Romsey team. Personally, I met some old friends, made a few new ones, did some promotion for our own 2020 show and spent a sensible amount of money on much needed supplies. Too much to see, but I did get around to view most of the tables and the competition area. Well done chaps, superb event.
  2. Really glad you enjoyed the show Wez, for our first event at this new venue, we believe it went very well. We knew having Sqiures trading would help footfall - and the Airfix team unveiling the new 1/72 Buccaneer at our event is something we’re very proud of. See you next year.
  3. Floor plan is now available via the club website....
  4. The show opens at 10:00am, closing at 16:00pm. Free parking throughout the day, hot food available until around 15:00. We have some epic prizes in the Tombola including 3 Wingnut kits and the new Airfix Hellcat amongst many others. We look forward to seeing you there.
  5. For 2019, our 4th model show is moving to a new location. After outgrowing Ampfield Hall, we are moving the event to Crosfield Hall in Romsey. The new venue is just 5 minutes from Junction 3, off the M27 and boasts greater space and light, air conditioning and free parking around the hall, and in nearby public car parks. 6. Any opinions on the Sunday? Reports from my guys who attended said it was quiet. We we had asked for 18 foot, straight run table with power, got neither. We were moved from the Churchill suite, outside on an L shaped display. We were busy all day with the thoroughfare helping. I counted about 8 traders and certainly less clubs that last years autumn show. Personally, I had a good day, but I seriously think that the organisers need to improve their communication and also go back to the one day format. I’d rather a busier one day show than two slow ones.
  7. So, this is you winging it again with no plan.....Outstanding work!
  8. Outstanding weathering....incredible to think that you build with little plan ahead as your work always looks so well thought out..!
  9. It's great to see the Pedrosa version done, I'm seriously considering doing this one myself. I do love the bike and livery, just can't bring myself to do the #93 bike! Great job on the paint and details. Well done. Inspirational.
  10. Wow, he's a real parts bin special! Fantastic and inspirational work as always Andy.
  11. I'm fortunate enough to get to see Tony's models regularly and to photograph them. These two are among my favourites he's done in this scale, my favourite is certainly the MR2, but both models are equally impressive.
  12. Excellent work - the likeness of the Bishop figure is very good.
  13. World class Sci-Fi modelling once again Andy...stunning job.
  14. Superb work again Andy, the base is very effective in showing off the model and wonderfully created.
  15. I love your build threads....inspiration and an education....great explanations and photography. Another marvelous Star wars model...
  16. I've tracked a number of Aliens kit on fleabay over the years.....silly money. I also saw some for sale at Telford last year......some were approaching £200.. Ideally, Bandai will get the licence for a whole series of Alien kits.......there's a thought.
  17. Ohh Err....I like that..nicely weathered and painted.
  18. I can't believe your not happy with that....another stellar build. The figure is very good....really sets it off for me.
  19. Love it....base is a nice touch. I wonder if this kit was rushed for release to coincide with the movie.....some short cuts perhaps??
  20. Very nice work, you should definitely build more models..
