Very very nice work I chickened out of an overall silver scheme - I have this kit on the bench as well I'm going to finish mine as an FB5 with camo - in fact I've enjoyed this kit that much I've just bought another and the F.1 conversion A tip I got off youtube was to use tungsten putty in the nose worked well Paul

  14. Went to the harrogate store yesterday - lots of airfix still and some academy not much tamiya/hasegawa (though loads of tam spit mk1?) loads of paints still .Picked up an airfix lancaster dambusters set for £22ish they had 1 1/48 merlin on the shelf still worked out cheap with voucher... Paul
  15. Jason I had some similar issues with a VLS I bought off ebay years ago I bought repair parts got nowhere airbrush ended in bin and I moved to Iwata
  16. Well... a box arrived today brimming with extra thin from LM . nice one will keep me going for a while and only took a few days to arrive!
  17. I've ordered a box of six from LM lets see what happens..
  18. I missed the hannants ones today.. pants.. anyway I ordered a box full (6) from LM about 6months or so ago arrived ok and very well packed each one had several layers of bubble wrap on and box was strong so I wouldnt be too worried Paul
  19. beware on the quickboost stuff for this kit - huge dissapointment I ordered the early cowling and it was WAY too small - if fact total junk Paul
