  1. . Due July 2024 https://tankmuseumshop.org/products/little-willie-3d-printed-model?ml_sub=2456095964721585146&ml_sub_hash=x2y4&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=new_limited_edition_little_willie_model_kit_centurion_watch_and_more&utm_term=2024-04-11 .
  2. . According to a some posts on Navy Net some time ago, a Wasp could carry carry a WE.177, but only carrying the pilot and with all excess weight (including the doors) removed - guidance and dropping point was by radar from the host ship. Escape was problematic, Whether that is all "true" who knows (the ones who do won't say) .
  3. . I see that this is a "Smart Kit" - does anyone know the good/bad implications of such labelling ? .
  4. . Excellent news.ðŸĪŠ I wish them both good health and successful business. ( I'm off to look at their website send them an e-mail now ! ) .
  5. . For those who pre-ordered "SON OF SHERMAN" - 2 volume 2nd edition, David Doyle has sent out a rather convoluted e-mail explaining how to pay for your pre-orders. Once you decypher the e-mail you can pay (make sure you use the "discount code". Postage to Europe is $80. And, AFTER all that they will only start sending out orders on 15th September, and European orders are 2nd priority, so will be slightly delayed ! I suggest that anyone who drinks in the evening leaves reading the e-mail until the morning. .
  6. . Interesting that the funnel bands SEEM to be unsymetrical - I don't understand why ? .
  7. . Interesting, where did you manage to find it available for view ? ( By the way, the film is "based" [ HA ! ] of the C S Forester book, "The Good Shepherd" ) .
  8. . So, can we expect a "Mighty Antar" in a year or two ? .
  9. . Sorry, not "Queen's houses" but "Queen Anne Mansions" - and I totally agree about the long wat for these. .
  10. . Special Hobby have announced a 1/72nd version (a couple of years ago) but haven't given any sort of release date. The 1/350th ICM version is rather crude and really needs some PE. .
  11. Any news as to whether (and when) this might be released ? TIA. .
  12. . The articulated vehicles mainly came late on in the running of the Red Ball Express. For most of the time fuel was run in the backs of the standard 2.5 ton trucks, or the 6 x 6 cargo version of the Diamond T in Jerry cans. The Canadians pioneered the use of Diamond T tank transporters and tank transporter trailers fully load with Jerry cans, this was copied by the British and Americans. .
  13. . It may be a little early to ask, but is the kit "split" along the real life construction joint such that the nose can be displayed mounted on a trailer for transportation ? Thanks. .
  14. . For those interested a newly released book, which is wonderfully informative and illustrated ; https://amazon.co.uk/Saturn-IB-Rocket-Apollo-Vehicle/dp/1800350287/ref=sr_1_1?crid=302STAAC1KPAY&keywords=saturn+1b&qid=1652172299&s=books&sprefix=saturn+1%2Cstripbooks%2C60&sr=1-1 .
  15. . How about a bi-wing Hurricane ? 😇 .
  16. . This is about the third year that this has been due out - I hope it does appear this year. .
  17. . It would be wonderful if Airfix produced a modern ship, and the QE and PoW will be in the news on and off for decades. .
  18. . So the question is whether it will be a Ford Transit, or Mercedes parcels carrier van, and in which company's livery ? 😁 .
  19. . 1/350th HMS Queen Elizabeth (aircraft carrier for the avoidance of doubt) - it would provide sales for decades. .
  20. . Does either/any 1/32nd Lancaster model manufacturer offer an H2S scanner as an option ? Thanks. .
  21. . Ahhhhh ! That's where ship modellers have the advantage, their kits will fit on shelves easily. 😋 😋 😋 .
  22. . 1: I can see that the "box art" is being released, does that include the kit ? 2: IF, this means that some/all Wingnuts moulds are available for sale ? .
