  1. Nice work o the camo, well done.
  2. Looks great. Got to see one of these depart and return to RAAF Amberley today as they are participating in an Exercise over here at the moment. They have a great sound.
  3. Outstanding job. So much detail on such a small kit, well done.
  4. Seeming I have posted my second and third Model for the year, I better put my first up too. Finished this one about 6 weeks ago. Ever since reading an article back in my teens about this particular aircraft in it's very different colour scheme and it's journey to America to be the AUP prototype aircraft back in the very early nineties, I have always wanted to model it. The kit is the trusty Hasegawa F-111C with a Master pitot probe and the Decals are out of my spares stash box, but the light grey serials were printed for me by a fellow modeller. Doing my research I found it very hard to find many colour pics of this aircraft so it proved to be a little difficult when it came to doing the decals, but I think it's pretty close. I used Tamiya Light Ghost Grey for the overall colour. The Hasegawa kit is the best 1:72 F-111 out there, but they are becoming very hard to find and even when you do you almost need a bank loan to buy one, I'm glad I still have a couple in the stash.
  5. Here's my third finished model for the year, as I have said before a very slow year for me. I'm not a big fan of all these pilotless aircraft that are becoming the future of aviation.... I want noise, but after a trip to the Hobby shop a couple of weekends ago I saw this kit and thought that might be what I need to get the juices flowing, a nice easy quick build. This kit is pretty simple in construction and it is small and has quite a few carpet monster eating parts but after a week this is what I have. I can't seem to put anything in my cabinet that doesn't have a roo roundel so I have gone for a little what if RAAF Uav RQ-1 and I think it looks alright. The Decals came from my spares box and I only used the kit decals for the serial numbers as it fits in with my what if, as it is only on loan to the RAAF it retains it's USAF serial number and therefore does not carry an A prefix number. I added some RBF tags and I made up some covers for the propeller for a little extra detail. Thanks for looking.
  6. Coming along nicely Ray. You did a great job on the re-scribing..... That's one task I really dislike.
