  1. Nice work on a unusual model Well done
  2. Thank you Natter. The wheels are very good, think it would be very difficult to better them.
  3. No matter your build problems that is a superb result.Great colours & weathering.I always think trucks look better with a bit wear on them. How often do you see a out of the factory truck in real life.
  4. Ah Spiny You know me so well.I have 2 model T vans one in black & the other a creamy colour. What am I like LOL. Never mind always room for one more.
  5. Late in the day but I do like that.Great modeling & paint job.Not often we see brown ones. I think in all of mine there are only a couple near that colour. Fine interior detailing too.
  6. Thank you. The wood is just a paint job.I did intend using real wood as I have done on other models but this is so tiny & so delicate I decided to not even attempt it. The reason for the figure is because it is displayed in a mixed collection & I think it makes it more like a ornament rather than a car model.
  7. Thank you Vince The kit had the ready made plastic wheels which are much finer than they look in the photos.Makes you wonder why all manufactures can't do the same. ICM do some wonderfully detailed kits,if at times slightly over engineered . They are from Ukraine so we should not complain seeing what they are going through
  8. This is my attempt at the "easy version"? of this kit. A bit different to chopping up RMLs. It was made to go in a open mixed display. It was just about at the limits of my ability.I had two kits Original with figures & wheels.& this one. I do not think I would have got it finished otherwise. There were 3 figures, but I could not get Lady Benz to get anywhere near fitting on the model.
  9. That's a fine build. Particularly from a old kit which I know can be a challenge.
  10. I have had the same trouble. No bother stripping other kits. This one seems to have a copper base & is even difficult to remove with abrasives. The chroming is not great either it's a slightly brassy looking one,a bit like Rose gold, & not great quality. Which means all plated parts would need re painting. A problem I am thinking I will avoid As I have not had great success with this aspect of modelling in the past, can do brass Ok but chrome is another matter.
  11. Something unusual,Nice build. Was the timber part of the kit? very effective. Well done.
  12. Superb build of car & display.I am just messing about with the kit at the moment I will be well pleased if mine comes anywhere close.
  13. Should be stopped. People putting photo's of real cars & pretending they are models. Great work. An inspiration to anyone who attempts the build. My 1 12th scale when I get round to it, will not reach such dizzy heights of that I am sure. Plus if it takes me 39 years I guess I will be in the Guinness book of records as the oldest living Britmoddler
  14. Come on Tomasz , that's the real car where is your model LOL Great work on one I have just added to my small stash. Amazing detail.
  15. WOW that is something else. Makes me wonder why I bother. For me an unreachable goal I think.
  16. Now that is unusual Pat.Nice to see something different.Good job.
  17. That gives me something to aim at when I build mine. Not that I expect to reach such superb quality. Keep going like that & you will give those old cars which I love a good name Stunning.
  18. Brilliant job That's the way a transit should look. Love the detail on it
  19. Nice job. I think this is a case of the builder seeing faults others can't. The paint job is fine.I always think with cars/trucks unless you are building a specific one, somewhere sometime they could have been any colour.
  20. That's a great looking model.Superb paint job. Well worth the wait
  21. The decals are fine IMO .Very difficult when white is involved. You have done a good job with them.
