To be honest I reckon the kit ones can be drilled out to look the same.

Good progress today, got the side-walls finished, IP finished and the cockpit assembled. Port side-wall Starboard side-wall Instrument panel Starboard side-wall in place with the cockpit assembly Cockpit fully assembled Next job was to remove the small scoop intakes from the nose on both sides of the fuselage I then added replacement resin Barracuda scoops and exhaust stubs Really pleased with the way this kit is going together.

Right there is a known issue with the kit part, in that it is sightly the wrong shape and the guns are too close together. There is an AM cowl but in my mind it is too expensive, especially after I have already tripled the cost of the kit with the AM I have already purchased.

Looks better Jamie, stick to using a modelling flat varnish, looks like the problem is the W&N of your thinning of it.
