Hi Martin, Problem with the decalling was there being too many coats of paint under them, some were on silky mat paint and when I photographed it it was still a bit damp with the decal fixing solution stuff. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Clif, as I mentioned I have learnt a lot from building this one. One of the things is just how much the standard of modelling has gone up since I was building kits. Airbrushing is a must nowadays, where 25 - 30 years ago it was a dark art practised by a few. Thanks for the comments next up is a A10 Hog, only got decals for AFRES I would really like to do it in European lizard colours in RAF Woodbridge markings. but maybe I'm being too ambitious. Hi all, This is the first model I have built in twenty :cough: years. I'm a bit rusty and failing eyesight and a shaky hand hasn't helped. It's hand painted and is a bit of a rescue job as the paintwork is I've learnt a lot, like next time I will airbrush! The following pics show up just how bad my eyesight has got (the last model I built I didn't wear glasses)! Still given how long it has been and how bad the paintwork started out I reasonable pleased with the outcome. Comments please oh and be gentle !
