  1. I now take a back seat in the organizing and running of the GBs so I'm a bit confused. Which GBs are you referring to and what were the changes? Can you please give some specific examples?

Without an example, I can only generalise. GBs almost take on a life of their own and do evolve. If as you say the scope changed, did you challenge the proposed change? Did you alert Enzo to the change? Nothing can be done if the Mods don't know there is a problem.

  2. Oh got a Tamia 1:48 Jagdpanzer, with PE, turned barrel, metal tracks and brass shells and casings. Have been looking for an excuse to build it.

I also want to get a 1:35 model as well... This could be the opportunity to build one or both.

  3. Splendid work on the paint job and weathering. In a couple of your photos it gives the same kind of slightly bleached colouring you see in contemporary colour photos from the 40s, which adds to the authentic note.

The camo masks are something I'll look into myself given your excellent results with them. I'll have to experiment with some rouge and blusher on my next build as well, seeing how well you did with the eye shadow here...

    Nice one,

    Tony

Thanks, Tony AK Interactive paints are 'scaled' to give a realistic colour effect. Please do have a look at TopNotch's Website as they have recently extended their range of masks if you have a look at my Blog you will see a review on the masks and you will find a generous discount code to use on TopNotch's website

  4. Just throwing out some GB idea's for the possible future.

1 Malta campaign - German, British, Italian. Lots of "stuff".

2 Soviet aircraft in foreign markings - Polikapov I15,16 in Spanish markings to SU27 Ethiopian. Big selection of subjects.

3 The Secret war -( Vietnam side show) - Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Air America, Ravens. Very cool!!

    Hope everyone approves. :)

    1. is covered by the MTO GB which is later this year

    2. Last done in 2011 so could be revisited

    3. Never been done to the best of my knowledge

  5. I needed a base for my recently completed 1:32 Bf 109G-10. Having an old plain base of a suitable size I decided to make it look authentic for late 1944 - Early 1945

So with some Coffee Stirring sticks from Macy D's and some Citadel grass Scatter, plus a few washes and pigments, I cam up with this:

And with the 109 on it

Technically it's not finished yes as I still have a figure to paint and add but here is what it should look like

    Thanks for looking.
