  1. That's incredible if you managed to produce that beauty from a MACH 2 kit!
  2. That looks seriously weird... I like it! Excellent model.
  3. That looks a weird one – very Rubenesque, but an amazing project. Strange to think that the future of air travel may mean going back to props. I think Frank Whittle has just turned in his grave.
  4. Isn't that a joy to behold! 55 parts in the engine alone! I've done kits with less parts than that. If you keep building these beauties this fast Frank, I see more shelf building in your future. I'm just off to punish myself most severely for nearly missing this one.
  5. That IS what happens for the vast majority of photos on the site. They need to be stored on a photo host and linked to a post.
  6. Just had a look at your Flickr account and WOW! Some exceptional models, scratchbuilds and pictures.
  7. Fantastic! If you photoshoped yourself leaning on your creation and most people would believe it's real.
  8. I haven't personally used HobbyPhotoHost and I've never used an iPad and currently my brain seems to be in hibernation for the summer (and then probably the autumn... winter...) so I wonder if @SteveR could possibly answer that one.
  9. Wow, wow and a few more 'wow's'. Even your display case is a thing of beauty! Thanks for the photo Frank – I can die happy now that I've seen heaven. P.S. I can't see your F-35?
  10. Stick that on some mud and I'd be convinced it was a real tractor. Stunning job!
  11. As usual, a tiny work of art. Fabulous! The black and white photo looks more real than the real. I'd love to see a few photos of your full collection Frank - that's one art gallery that would be exceptional.
  12. Wow! That's fantastic! The water looks amazing. After reading the story I must admit that I've done a few that I'd rather sink the boat rather than own up to.
  13. It took me a few minutes and Google translate before that one clicked. I'm not used to having to work that hard for a joke.
  14. Fantastic job! Very believable. You nearly got a 'laugh' rather than a 'like' because of those decals.
  15. I assumed the same.... and that he's called Gerry.... damnit I said I wouldn't do that joke.
  16. Well I'm 100% convinced. And 'gullible' is in the dictionary - I've checked.
  17. I think the whole 'polled friends on FB' thing was intended as a joke and probably didn't really happen. Only use for comic effect.
  18. I've also read the comments and I agree with Dave. And there is nothing about your use of the English language that could be at issue.
  19. I don't know what caused the original problem, so I don't know if it was what you said, or how you said it. I've noticed before that sometimes people who speak/write English as a second language can sometimes come over as a little abrupt/brusque, personally I make allowances as I'm aware that the subtleties of English are a real pig to master. As a native English speaker I've been known to say things that haven't gone down well, without intending to. If the member who was offended can't accept that sometimes things are written that don't sound the same as they were intended, that says more about them than you. If they have a problem, they should have discussed with you directly. If you enjoy being a member of this site, please don't let one individual put you off.

    The Weather,

It got to 35.5 degrees here today but am I complaining? * I've found a way to cool down a tiny bit. Warning: Anyone with any street-cred or has ever been referred to as 'cool' should look away now. ** I'm currently sitting in front of the fan with a cold flannel on my head. It may look silly, but it's sooooo nice. *** * Of course I am, I'm just trying to pretend that I'm not the king of wussland. ** As this is a modelling site, I'm assuming that's no one. *** No I'm not going to show a photo as I'm desperately trying to retain the tiniest shred of dignity.
