  1. 1/24 is the excitement scale, and all of a certain vintage can recall Airfix and their 1/24 Spitfire, Aircraft modellers will always remember that year, and it was a golden time and age, I've a horrible feeling, we will not see a new tool for a few years from Airfix in 1/24. Trumpeter have just issued a Ju 87A, yet it hasn't really rocked the modelling world, strange it wasn't one of their own modern Aircraft πŸ˜‰ I think Airfix own 1/24, Hawk and new Spitfire Mk 1, would be sellers 😊
  2. Brilliant looking model 😊 bought the Revell boxing at Telford, and your lovely looking rendition make me move mine near the bench😊
  3. I've made a few Airfix P 51D in 1/72, joystick is very easy to break, but, the kit is a nice kit. Hope we do hear something new from Airfix and Revell😊 around Christmas time, . Generally, the hobby is heading to top end kits, £40ish, for something nice😊 the smaller stuff being left to the cottage industry types, that's the message I got from Telford this year. Airfix 1/24, new Spitfire Mk 1 and a Hawk same scale would be nice. also, room for a Matchbox style manafacture 😊
  4. Disappointed that Airfix didn't give us a list of new tools, I was expecting at least four to match this years new issues 😞 the Blenheim looks very nice, and Wellington 😊 Airfix missed being star of the show, Revell didn't surprise any as well, so, the two main manufactures are, slowing down new tool production, so it seems😐 TamTrumpHas, didn't surprise anyone as well, sad as well, as they have in the past😊
  5. Brilliant looking model and great paint 🎨 job😊
  6. superbly made classic kit, and looking so well painted, Matchbox kits can be made to look very nice 😊 I have a Trumpeter 1/48 in the stash, as I've always liked the look of this 50s jet😊
  7. Brilliant looking model that really brings back memories to my childhood days, and none drying white and silver from Airfix Glass bottles 😊
  8. Brilliant look model of a real Airfix classic, that Roy Cross Art work was brilliant, and yes I recall making it, last century, great kit, always puzzled me Airfix tooled the 86D, and not the Korean famous one, think Airfix missed the boat a bit there 😊
  9. One the best I've seen made up, like a lot of other model makers, I have one in the stash😊
  10. Really great looking model, spot on in how it looks😊 the paint 🎨 work is superbly done😊
  11. lovely looking P51D, and great review of the kit, yes, like 109G, spoiled for choice😊 Telford big seller's, will be Walrus and P51D😊
  12. With new bloke in charge, nice 1/32 60s cars please and trucks, Aircraft in 1/24, should be a nice Hawk😊 more 1/48 and 1/72 airfield equipment πŸ˜‹ Red Dwarf ship😏 Nice big 1/12 E-Type😜 Airfix back to being Airfix πŸ˜‰
  13. Amazing aircraft, and great times in the 70s, waiting for the next project 😊 never happen again 😐
  14. Very nice Hornet, was it really 1974 when mock ups of F17, first seen, 40 years ago, imagine, 1917 Camel in service in 1957, Hmmm😊 Aviation has stopped more or less, . Brilliant model 😊
  15. Superbly made 😊 great colour scheme as well 😊
  16. Very nice, best 1/72 IAR-80, I've seen, Great colour scheme as well,😊
  17. superbly made model, really different, best I've seen yet, this kit😊 making it myself, and yes, simple tooling, fits, well, engine I think bit disappointing, also engine cowling not the best fit, and weak detail on machine guns. surprising, haven't seen to many made up, and magazine's seem to have given it the miss, and internet sites, yet made in some numbers and some historic events, and a all round bad guy, yet still little interest shown😊
  18. really lovely looking model of a very interesting model😊
  19. Great kit, Mig 15 and 109G, came out about the same time, about 10years ago😜 red box type, and we all thought Airfix was going the matchbox way, then the Spitfire mk22, came out, and things changed, that's history, and now its time for the next 10years😊
