  1. 66, new Airfix kits, I've bought past decade 😏 amazing, I just added them all up, least £400, worth, top my head, so I must like making them. Really hope, another 66, are issued over the next 10 year's that I like😊
  2. Sad, we all look forward to the advent calendar and all that goes with it, Airfix doing a good job with this yearly treat 🍨. But, as we all know, things are not great back at Airfix/Hornby, and haven't been for some time, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them, and that they keep going. Telford this year had a feel of a bit of a down turn with the major manufacture's, sign of the times, prices and how many sold hold the key, and Β£35, for a good new tool, seems to be the bench mark, I wonder how many Walrus kits are sold, and I'm not sure that just producing Aircraft is the best way to go, all your eggs in one basket. maybe it's only going to be two new kits for a few years, and reissue old kits with new markings, I can live with that. How many new Tools have Airfix issued this past ten years, 80❓ , I'm not sure, but at least we have them, Revell have issued about the same, so we are not short of subject matter.😊
  3. Figure painting is the hardest bit of model making, second is making vehicles, any of them, for lots of reasons, you obviously are very good at this dark art, my favourite, the gull wing merc, the rest are superbly made 😊
  4. superbly made kits my favourite, well three, the Texans, really interesting, and so well made😊
  5. Great set of kits, you have had a good year at the bench, pink panther is my favourite 😊
  6. Having made their Boomerang a few months ago, Great funβ€ΌπŸ˜Š and having made most of the WW2 back catalogue, most will not compare to modern tools, some are 60year old😐, but fun. FW 189 Bv 141 Hs 129 Pe 2 Battle And, we have those fantastic box art's to recall, worth the price alone😏 Airfix, Revell and Matchbox, is almost a side line to a fantastic hobby, and I make at least one a year πŸ˜‹ I'm making a new 1/48 IAR 80, something is missing, think it might be soul😜 and there's still things not great with this 21 century kit😐 Best classic Airfix kit, for me, 2017, it has to be, Bv 141, said everything about the hobby, and I do think, modellers of a certain age, know what I mean πŸ˜‰
  7. Really good looking model, and yes, very menacing, and Terrifying to many, I've spent a lot of time looking at the one at Coventry museum, and yes, still terrible looking mean machine, out and out killing machine.
  8. Am I on my own, wanting Airfix to tool.kits Military, Ships, Vehicles and Sci fi 😊 And my main interest is Aircraft, or is the above going to end up being taken over by the Cottage industry πŸ˜‰ Or, maybe we have been spoiled the past 20 years 😏 The sad missed kits, Airfix 1/48, Scimitar, Revells 1/32 Do 17, Eduards 1/32 Spitfire Mk I, I don't think we will see these kits, back in 2008, I did think it was a done deal, but times change 😊
