  1. Wonderful work! And a nice building log. You have created a nice plane and a nice crew, with equipment. I really like the MC! 8-D
  2. In Norway we make swings with a plank of wood. That can be easier than making a wheel. Any way, a kid will have great fun with only a hanging rope. 8-)
  3. A really wonderful tree! Some kids have some "swing wheel" (I don't know the English word for it) that they can play with. It might be just a wheel hanging in a rope. Could that be cool? 8-)
  4. I do not have words! I am impressed!!! Just wonderful!!! And a master piece!!! You have done a very good work!!! WOW!!! 8-D
  5. very nice work! I'm looking forward to follow this!! 8-)
  6. I am also surprised about the different in size! How to know which is the correct? I have bought parts from SD before and those were good , but these might bring problems? 8-)
  7. Very nice Herald (and Mini) dio! My father has a Herald 13/60 (1967 model) in his garage. It has been left there since the beginning of the 90'th. It is in perfect original condition. (The roof has never been removed). I would like to make a copy of this. If I manage to find the right kits I can make a copy of the garage. It also contains a 97 MGF and a 2005 Rover 75. (Yes, British cars are great!) 8-)
  8. You are talking about drilling the holes, @larchiefeng. An old colleague, who was building the Aventador, was recommended to use a soldering iron and melt down the screws. Do you (or other here) have any experience or comments about this recommendation? 8-)
  9. Realy nice wheels! The spokes might be too narrow for the power of the engine? Any way I prefer the possibility to see the details if your brakes etc! Very nice! 8-)
  10. I have far more ideas than I have time to build. The only diorama I have built is the "lunch-table at the parking place" with some chopped cars. Any way there are lots of ideas. Among my more further plans is the old Norwegian church Borgund Stavkirke: [IMG src=] But the church has to be build with coffe-stirrels-sticks. The area around will become more easy. 8-)
  11. You have to place this model in the correct position North-South. Then you can follow the moon and the sun! Very cool kit! 8-)
  12. Very nice start! I am looking forward to follow your project! 8-)
  13. Great! I am sure those photos have been lying in your raincoat some months after you came home from the east front! Wonderful work!!! 8-)
  14. My father bought a brand new 144DL in 1972. White. That was the first car i drove, at the age of 10. If I drove it out of the garage I could wash it, and drive it back! That car was never dirty! I have not built (or found) a model of this, but I have plans to strip and rebuild a diecast model. It is quite a stright forward job, but you need to find a model that is nice shaped in the body. 8-)
  15. Yes. Hazel is the right name. There were small clusters with 3-5 nuts in. Smal dark red/brown cocoon that kept each nut. I have never seen such a tree either before or after... (By the way, the BMW lived for about 10 years after it left my hands). 8
  16. Outside our house we had, previously, a tree that hand purple leaves during summer. They became green in the autumn! (of course) I did not find any good picture of it, but I found one with the BMW that I had in those days! The tree is behind, and you can see the color of the red leaves and a normal green tree. The red leaves was on a tree that had hassel(?) nuts in the autumn. I found it very cool to have red leaves and nuts in the autumn. But the tree had to go as my wife wanted a porch... But you can see something there.... 8
  17. I do think those cracks will be nice and look like an very old wall (and a victim for explotion?) But is the doorway wider on the top? 8-)
