  1. Just thought I would mention something, while it's not entirely related to the P.1000, Albeback52 has posted some of the up and coming Model Collect walker kits, and Sgt. Squarehead has mentioned the over emphasis on Luft/Wehr'46 and wunderwaffles, I just wanted to say that Model Collect is doing the walkers as part of their 1/72 Fist of Wars series figure as part of a gaming (tabletop maybe) set they are collaborating with a Japanese company for. Currently announced including, German Walkers, Soviet Walkers, a fake P.300 heavy tank and the P.1000 is considered to be informally part of this series. Based on other announcements, it's likely US and Japanese walkers/fictional '46 vehicles will be released in the future as well (regrettably nothing British related has been announced as of yet). I know some of the guys at Model Collect, and their product (WWII amor mostly) appeal to a lot of the tabletop community which is why they've been looking to branch out, but their main focus will remain to be real life vehicles. I should also mention one of the Model Collect guys mentioned on a Chinese forum that the P.1000 started off as a semi joke, but as development on other models progressed (namely the E-100 series) and increased interest, they decided to proceed with making the actual thing.
  2. Has anyone built their kits before, what's the quality like? I can't seem to find any image of their kits online besides the box art.
  3. Hi all: I've built a few ships in 1/700, but I've always had problems with PE parts, namely railings, either I glue them on before I paint it, and it makes paint the thing nearly impossible, or I put them on after and it may mess up the paint. Anyone have any advice on how to work with PE parts in 1/700? Doesn't necessarily have to be railings, can be PE in general. Cause it drives me mad everytime. Any good advice or links are welcomed. Thank you. Also, any tricks to gluing a large piece of PE such as flight deck or sides of superstructures? Cheers Val
  4. Not going to be released in 2017 is what they (Special Hobby) told me.
  5. Looking forward to that 1/72 Phantom, also, sent a message to SH's Facebook page, 1/72 viggen coming, but not in 2017... oh well
  6. Hmm... no word on that 1/72 Viggen, the wait continues..... Anyone have any inside scoop on what's the story with the supposedly incoming 1/72 SH Viggen?
  7. Based on my experience with LuckyModels, only buy things that are either in stock or upcoming, anything labelled with a restock period of more than 2 weeks is no go, had to cancel many items because they just can't get some items in. Though that being said, all the recent Instock in PRC items that I've purchased were actually dispatched.
