  1. I completely agree, it's an amazing hobby, it's hard though for a youth to do it, you know, exams, school, homework, it was the same with my brothers, they were into this sort of thing, but they would always buy the models and never make them! But I'm not complaining, I got all the models after them
  2. hey Sam, ive been looking at your Vulcan build and I must say, what an amazing build!! what did you use for the seat belts? I would love to steal a few ideas from your build ! harry btw, you and I have the same bed covers....
  3. wow Sam, I've been looking through this build and its amazing! what did you use for the seat belts?
  4. well I did it, its just massive, but im fine with that, for the crew seats I used two airfix sea king seats, im still working on the air intakes, there no were finished but im getting there.
  5. Sorry, this is the only way I can get these images across without it going horribly wrong, but there you go!
  6. This is so annoying everything goes wrong when I do it Ill upload everything later on my computer
  7. My* not emu, I have no idea how spell check got that
  8. Thats what the vulcan seats look like, I've decided to use some airfix sea king seats to improve the detail. I'm sorry it seems that emu photos aren't appearing, any suggestions?
  9. Hi all, sorry I have a quick update, I have another Vulcan that I'm working on as well as xj824, so I'll be posting both vulcans on this page
  10. Wow, I would have loved to be there! Thanks for for the luck Harry
  11. Hi all, this is my first post on britmodeller and I've decided to build an avro Vulcan, I won't be posting all the time due to school work and other things such as studying for exams, but I'll make sure not to forget to upload now and again, the Vulcan I'll be making is xj824, which is at the imperial war museum in Cambridge, I've seen it a few times and I've taken about a thousand photos of the damn thing. So I have plenty of reference photos to help me. harry
  12. I'm afraid your right! I'll have to share the pain with you all 😈
  13. I'm now doubting rescribing my Vulcan, it's the first time I've ever rescribed anything as well! Stever, I don't blame you, my dads airfix kits are in the attic and we can't get to them, (or at least I don't want to) due to the amount of spiders calling it home 😬
  14. My Vulcan xj824, I won't be posting every day due to school and a busy schedule, but I will make sure to post and update you on everything which happens! harry I'll be uploading shortly, in a couple of days when I'm back home.
  15. Stever, why don't you make the Vulcan? You would have a excellent time filling gaps with milliput I'm thinking of making a detailed bomb bay but I'm not sure, I'll think about it when the time comes
  16. Thanks Martian, that's a good point, I'll make sure to do this, I've done it before but I must have been lucky! I recently bought back some poly cement in my suitcase and it was confiscated I don't want to make the same mistake with the poly cement as I'll sure be needing it for the Vulcan
  17. I've already checked, the vulcans fine but has a lot of grease on it, is this the molding machine? Anyway it came of easily so everything is ok, thanks for warning me, I should probably start on it when I get home, I'll make sure to keep you updated!
