  7. Great scratchwork! Very impressive build! Looks Kind of similar to a Bücker Bestmann or a BF 108 Taifun 🤔 Could be a donor kit when scratching this in a bigger scale I think...!?!? Thx 4 sharing, Olli

  11. " Nightmare kit with Aires resin seat, Eduard interior and their non fitting air intakes PE. " Can't see nothing of this in the end result, because that is F L A W L E S S and C L E A N as hell!! I think you have made a 200% build that's pretty much the maximum you can get out of this kit!! Intimidated by the perfect photography that is evident here.... (not only in your post but all around here in the Forum, i have to get a decent camera/lighting/Background and, oh yea, SKILLS soon.... Thanks for sharing, Olli

  19. I have the most respect for modellers who get the most out of old kits, and accept the inaccuracies that come with the old kits. It makes such a nice model on a stand! These kind of builds are, for me, the true spirit of plastic scale modelling !! Well done sir ! thx for sharing, Olli
  20. Maybe it's too late for this idea, but since this is a standard size plastic tubing, you could try to get this in clear styrene, so you would just have to mask the Windows on the inside and outside and paint the whole thing... quick Amazon search brought this up: https://www.amazon.com/Polycarbonate-Tubing-Wall-Clear-Color/dp/B00193UNBI/ref=sr_1_1/158-2144978-8204063?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1487197375&sr=1-1&refinements=p_item_diameter_derived%3A2+inches cleanest and clearest Windows you could ever achieve... maybe this helps, enjoying your build very much...Progress Looks very good and that lassic dominie pic may be my next Screen saver ! Olli
  21. Hello everyone, slowest progress here... (well, that's mainly because I have not much modelling time and I got so frustrated filling/sanding/rescribing/undoing rescribng errors that I've startet another build (welsh vacform, something for a future WIP i hope...) Some small updates: mockup of the whole thing, starting to look like a 727 now I think, engines were taken apart, fan blades scratched (in a simple, ham-fisted approach) and I tried to rebuild the intake ducts (taken of, glued halves together, filled, sanded, glued on the fan blade front... now "Kind of" seamless... started rescribing of the main airframe now, works out o.k. with 3 M Tape and a Scriber from Albion Alloys... note to myself: NEVER put Milliput on a flat Surface again.... Comes off in flakes when scribed, where it stays on the model it is way to soft for rescribing .... thanks for watching, Olli
  22. Nice! Like it very much !! Grew up with Italeri kits....cool build! Thanks for sharing, Olli
