  1. Hi Bosse,

I just started building a FM Vautour and was searching for  info when I found a Britmodeller link to your 1/48 Vautour. Unfortunately the link seems to be dead. Is it still out there or lost in time?

If you could share it I would be most grateful

    Colin

Hi Colin and thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately all build pictures of my Vautour build got lost in a computer crash, and the Photobucket ransom deal.

If there is something specific you wonder about the kit, just ask me and I'll try and ask them the best I can.

It's a horrible kit that requires a lot of work, but it can be done.

The worst part of if is getting the engine nacelles blended with the wings.

And nowadays the landing gear has given ut, and the wheels are splayed in an inverted V-shape.

But it still resides in my display cabinet.

I still got the B-version sitting in the stash, but I think it'll sit there until a new kit arrives.

      /Bosse

OK Thanks I'm building the B version and trying to find out if the bomb aimer had an ejection seat? Thanks

My B kit is still at my cottage.

I'll be going there for Easter, and I'll look at it then and see if I can deduce weather there is an ejection seat or not.

      /Bosse

  2. Hi,

  3. Hi Peter, I have just revisited your Tornado from 2011 and noted that you were looking forward to the next tornado group build yet haven't signed up for the Tornado farewell group build next year.

We would love to have you aboard, find us under 'Tornado Warning ' in future group builds.

    Colin

  4. Hey Enzo

We have 27 members willing to join a Tornado STGB when there's an opportunity. It looks like I'll be the mod but Col has offered to assist as well. Please let us know when we can fit in, preferably soon as were working from the end of service date last month.

    Thanks Colin

  5. Hi Pat,

Are you putting your name down for a Tonka STGB next year?

    Thanks Colin

  6. Hi Mike

Posted the Lysander today. It will go out Monday and be with you Tuesday or Wednesday

    Regards Colin

  7. Hi Tomoshenko

I was following your Fury posting but the images seem to have disappeared.

Any chance you can fix the links for me and the other BM's who are suddenly building a spate of Fury's

    Thanks

Thanks for the compliment Colin. There is some problems with Postimage at the moment - other BMers are experiencing problems. If they don't fix it in a couple of days I will re-establish the photos.

      Hi

Many thanks for your reply. I was a photobucket victim as well so know the feeling.

Your Fury is a fantastic piece of work which deserves to be seen.

      Thanks Colin

Ever get the feeling some people take life a little too seriously sometimes?

  9. Hi Troy,

Question for early Hurricanes, with the interior silver, what colour should the undercarriage and bay be?

    Thanks Colin W

      Hi Colin

ALL internals apart from the cockpit side walls and rear bulkhead were painted aluminium,  this includes UC well, gun bays, engine bays.

  10. Hi Tony, Thanks to your encouragement I have finished adding all the pictures back into my Group Builds for 2017. The curse of Photobucket is gradually lifting.

    Cheers Colin
