Evening all Might sound stupid but I've only just discovered that Italian cr42's took part in the battle of Britain. This leaves me with 2 questions - Which mark of cr42 was used ? And are there any 1/72 decals available for any battle of Britain aircraft, or hopefully the aircraft that landed on the Suffolk coastline on 11 November 1940 ? Many thanks in advance Phil

Not airfix as such but asda are selling brand new hornby train sets and scalextirc sets at £40 each. Can't see where the profit is in these. Phil

That's perfect thanks, unfortunately it proves that it was with 10 squadron during its time south east Asian command, not a the time of the Berlin airlift. Oh well back to the drawing board. Thanks anyway Julien. Phil -
I'm trying to find the history of a Dakota IV serial KN555 that served at some point with 10 squadron. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Phil

Most if not all the sabres in rafg had pru blue undersides, the 2 UK based squadrons had natural metal undersides. Phil

Sorry folks, another stupid spitfire question, I've got 3 airfix spitfire kits in front of me, all 3 call for a different colour inside the wheel wells, 56,90 or 106. Can anyone confirm which if any is correct ? Phil

Another airfix spitfire question. In the starter kit spitfire the lower colour scheme calls for sky under surfaces with one black wing. Is this accurate or a way for airfix to get away with using the 4 supplied pots of paint ? Phil
