Tizzy

I am going to be building Xtrakit's Sea Vixen and Scimitar as a tandom build.I've made a start on the Sea Vixen,and i am about to start the Scimitar. I expect the Scimitar build will be completed first as i am building it OOB,and also it looks a lot less work than the Sea Vixen.Also i am fitting some of FAA's resin goodies to the Sea Vixen.I won't be correcting any major inaccuracies on either kit,as they look close enough to the subjects to keep me happy,and i'm not that good at scratch building.So to the builds. First the Sea Vixen. Kit plastic parts Kit resin parts FAA's resin bits The resin seats provided by Xtrakit are ridiculously underscale.I am going to be using FAA's replacement in the cockpit,and the kit part in the navigators coal hole,where it will fit better,and not be seen as easily.

Nice apart from the decals.Airfix need to sort their ongoing decal problems quickly.They can ruin a lot of hard work and it only needs to happen once for Airfix to be crossed of the list of future purchases. on your work,and to Airfix and their dodgy decals.
