That is a vast improvement over the soft kit details. Well done! David

Gorgeous work, Dan. Your finish looks incredibly smooth. David -
That rotor head is exquisite. At least I think it is, as my eyes have popped out of their sockets and I am now blind. Amazing stuff. David

Tamiya F-16 CJ Block 50 1:32

Great progress so far! The painting setback is minor. What ratio of paint and solvent did you use? Was that sprayed in thin layers or just one pass? Was the surface cleaned prior to painting? You should be able to sand it smooth once fully cured. Another option is to strip the paint off with mineral spirits and try again. David -
Fantastic start! The seat looks great, as do the Quinta decals. David

That is a sharp looking Hornet! Excellent fading of the markings. I really like how your wash in the landing gear bays makes the detail pop. Did you use Tamiya panel liner there as well? David -
Wow, Serkan. Just... wow. Your 3D modeling skills are seriously impressive. Have you chosen a name for your aftermarket company yet? David

Nice! 🤩 This looks fun! I thought about doing the same conversion years ago, but as always, life got in the way. I’ll just pull up a seat and watch your magic here, if I may. David

Hello Serkan. It’s good to see you are progressing on the M-21. Excellent work, as always. It appears you have a metallic finish on the inlet spikes. The spikes were a composite material and should be black. The tip of the spikes was solid metal (and very sharp!), and I believe they were unpainted. In 1/72, the metal part is only about 1 mm, IIRC. Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to the next update. You are close to the finish line! David

That “Sweden” livery has some crazy tail art! That should be pretty striking. 😀 What is the squiggly writing under the word “Sweden,” just above the windows? David

Hello Ed- Welcome to the forums and also back to the hobby! Don’t get too hung up on colors. Just have fun! Speaking of colors, what did you use for the cockpit? It is a good match to the photoetch. David

John, you should be able to fully remove the Gauzy with an ammonia-based cleaning solution (undiluted). David
