  1. A brave man, particularly as there is a couple of nice 1:72 kits out there - the KP and the SBS resin. That being said these have turned out very nicely and I particularly like G-ACSR. A good result.
  2. Superb finish of two striking schemes. Lovely job!
  3. The green wings would make sense if the aircraft had undergone in-the-field repairs - there is more likely to have been a green donor aircraft than a red one. Lovely build!
  4. The result is actually very effective and gives a very good representation of the appearance of the 1:1. I would like to see more!
  5. It is a design very much of its time. I can remember as a small boy my friends and I would draw aircraft just like that. I must have been six or seven. Excellent build Pyradus.
  6. I hope you don't mind, but I put a link to this thread on Model Hangar III forum. A stunning project and result!
  7. Despite its age I think this is a very good kit of am attractive and unusual subject. I built one about 20 years ago and have another to build. Lovely result Lucius.
  8. The first kit I ever bought at age 8 was the Revell Kittyhawk from that boxed series. I distinctly remember trying to put the wings on back to front. I kept the box art for ages. Not long after that I bought the Macchi. Those early builds relied on the kit styrene colour for the finish after the 'transfers' had been stuck on.
  9. I admire your perseverance! If it had been me it would have been filed vertically way before the finish. One small thing. It is a Sea Wolf - the Consolidated TBY-2 - to be exact. (I had to look it up.)
  10. There is only one answer to that: "Hello, good evening and ........"
