  1. Thirded...... A joy to behold, matey. Cheers, H
  2. Superb, as always, Ron.... it gets my seal of approval, mate..... Cheers, H
  3. Not offended in the slightest.....it looks way cool... Cheers, H
  4. Yet more excellent work from Mr Cox... a very talented bloke indeed. Both cars are superb in every way. I'm sure Chas would be over-the-moon with these pics. Please thank David for sharing them with us. My personal favourite is the Rat Rod.... that's right up my street. Cheers, H
  5. Hi Ron, I've finally had chance to catch up on proceedings... and I must say, I'm VERY IMPRESSED . I love every delicious detail... even down to the tools (nice touch). It's a pity you've had to endure yet more paint issues, though, but your persistence and skill won out in the end. I can't wait to see the end result.... Great job , Sir Cheers, H
  6. Hi Nick. Wow!!!! Incredible work. I foresee a surge in Bentley builds in the near future.... Cheers, H
  7. Hi Nick. Welcome to my madness and thank you for your kind words. I would love to be able to learn and master the 3D drawing/printing thing, as you did in very short order (bravo, sir), but, sadly, my brain isn't digitally inclined. I guess I'm just an old dinosaur. Hmmm.... a very interesting proposal indeed, Nick... thank you. In reply, yes I would definitely consider it. Pm me and we'll have a natter... Cheers, H
  8. Hello my friend, good to hear that your renovations are nearly completed and can continue with your 806 soon. I think the last 18 months have been a little crazy for everybody in some way or another.... That's strange, I wonder why....?? Maybe Mike might be able to help?? Cheers, H
  9. Hi Manu. Due to life getting in the way, I've been away from my bench for a while and subsequently lost interest in all things modelling. So no update to speak of, sorry. However, the good news is...... my motivation is starting to return, so you can expect an update very soon. Cheers, H
  10. Same here, I'm afraid. Such sad news, indeed. He was a gentleman and a scholar, whose passion for modelling was evident in all his musings and comments. I will miss him. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. RIP Chas. Harvey.
  11. I had my toes crossed, too.... Splendid result, Dan. Cheers, H
  12. Lovely job on the beading, Dan. Did you use super-thin CA to affix it? I like your hinges, too... very neat. Consider them well-and-truly crossed.... good luck matey. Cheers, H
  13. WOW! Very impressive, dear Dan. Cheers, H
  14. So sorry to read of your bad news, Roy. Thank goodness that you're all unhurt. Best wishes for the renovations. Wheel assembly is looking fantastic, btw. Cheers, H
  15. It's actually a brake-servo. The clutch is between the engine and gearbox. Despite the little mistake (these things happen, lol), your work looks good. The servo repositioning should be a pretty straight-forward fix, so keep it up and be brave Cheers, H
  16. Indeed, Chas, that is a beautiful monster and would look great on display..... but, I'm afraid it's a bit too posh for me. Cheers Hannes. I thought you might enjoy those... I know I did . I hope all is going well with the renovations. Cheers, H
  17. Thank you Manu and welcome. Making the small things isn't as easy as it once was due to the inevitable aging of the eyes. Good magnification is key...... oh, and a great dollop of patience also helps. I will. I'm not sure what the subject will be yet, but will be a minimum of 1:8 scale.....
  18. Ditto.... You're off to a good start there, Manu.
  19. I've not tried fibreglassing..... have seen it done, though and it makes me shudder. I just know I'd end up blathered in it. Great result, Dan. The last 2 "bling" pics make it all worthwhile. Cheers, H
  20. Nice one Ron. I don't envy you drilling all those holes for rivets, though...... enjoy lol. Cheers, H
  21. I'd say that your finish looks flawless, as it stands, Dan.... super-smooth, with just about the right level of shine. If it was me, I'd be tempted to leave it alone through mortal fear of screwing up the next coat...... Cheers, H
  22. Impressive (standing..) start, Ron..... let the magic commence. My pile cushion and popcorn are at the ready, mate. Cheers, H
  23. Superb fabrication skills, Dan. The upright looks like a proper cast item... great job. Cheers, H
