Hello Gents !! The weather was nice, cold but nice.... Memsahib has a rest day.... Soooo, time for a walk in the woods..... The stream is called l'Eau noire, or the Black water.... Due to the iron still present in the rocks.... It was then time for a recreation.... At the birth place of river Oise..... A triple Chimay and a cheeses plate or plank..... Modelling ?? Ah yes.... Note for @heloman1, be careful at this part, it need to be trimmed a bit The part behind the bulkhead must be inserted when the half fuselages are buttoned up But then, there's a gap on the dorsal spine, so I elected to place it after.... A bit of trimming and it's done.... And the coaming is not to be placed over the dashboard as per the destructions... But sitting behind it..... Have a great modelling time Gents !! Sincerely CC Le Wibble See @Martian post for more informations -

Thanks Maestro G!! You are an inspiration for me in painting matters !! And yes, it's huge.... Thank you Chris !! That was what I was looking for.... The metallic shine helped a lot in this way... Many thanks Alistair... Now back in aircrafts with a fan on the nose.... Landing in a post stamp in the middle of the great waters.... Haaog CC talked Thank you Loren !! Already 2 in Virginia.... An Oceana one is in the making.... But I don't remember if Oceana is in Maryland or Virginia too.... Thank you Chris !! And partly brush painted following your fine advice..... Thank you for that too Sure the kids were pleased... Nick talked about giving me a F-35 now... The way I stare at him was sufficient, he bursted in laugh.... A Gannet maybe ??? Thanks Martin !! Of course your pics were helpful !! I saw the beast just once and from far away at that.... I'll thank you all for the support and friendship !! Oh I really like BM and the usual suspects !! Sincerely. CC -

corsaircorp replied to corsaircorp's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
The WiP is here... Well, let's go for size comparisons in Air superiority US aircrafts..... No more shiny sexy colours.... So Saaaaad..... Nowadays aircrafts can be more efficient, more this... more that..... But they are sad and flat.... I preferred the colourful times of fighters ..... The same stand for cars.... Huh, talking that way made an old grumpy grandpa out of me .... I also will thank @Lightningboy2000 for the photos sent !! It was helpful, thanks again Sir !! Sincerely. CC -
Birthday Raptor.... And Quickbuild over that !!

Hi folks... It is done... Pheeewww..... Sincerely. CC -
Hello Gents, Well, I'm not very satisfied of my finished kit but.... It's a birthday gift from my kids.... Nicolas wanted me to do a "Modern aircraft" wich is out of my comfy zone.... Both Marshall and Nick said that I have to do it in a year.... (almost done.....) They both said no aftermarket goodies... It must be build OOB.... (once again almost done) At least, I did'nt buy any goods except for paints...... Well, @LorenSharp, here I'm again in Virginia.... Langley precisely..... The Italeri kit is not too bad but not pleasant, especially the Origami of armament bays doors.... Tiny gluing surfaces, imprecise destructions... and so on.... I changed the bang seat for an Avionix one from my stock.... Didn't buy it FOR this kit after all.... I let the cockpit closed because the internal is rather poorly detailled.... The instrument panel come from my FA-18F.... See, did'nt buy it either.... Can a Raptor perform a Cobra manoeuvre ??? Sure she can, That's why they got a Cobra's head as a throttle handle.... The support for the gunsight are made out of plasticard.. I stayed measured on the weathering, I should have done a bit more on the exhaust area but.... I also corrected the Stargazer effect on the fuselage.... Thanks to for the tip @exdraken since I didn't have noticed that !! However, I'm glad with my metallic effect on paint, achieved with 2 drops of AK chrome in the AK satin varnish... Thanks to @Dunny for the tip, I pushed it a bit further in using metallic paint Roger.... it work !! Paints are AK, box decals are really fragile, at first, I wanted a Pearl Harbour based aircraft but..... I must say that I'm glad to see it done..... Well family pics ?? What family ?? The beast is alone... for the while..... As usual, comments are welcome, bantering is mandatory.... Sincerely. CC
