  1. Well, a steel ruler, that's it. I do the drawing on a technical drawing board (for architecture), at least since recently. I simply scribe along the lines and then break the styrene, I never cut it. I use a compass to scribe round parts... There are more professional modellers than me, they are probably having rigs and other awesome things, they will surely add info here or pm you once they read it. I can add some of my tools if you wish later. Day off and mogglin time. /Stefan
  2. I did get the master club ones. But the wrong kind^^ muahaha. I will order new ones tomorrow^^.
  3. Great idea and amazing execution. I like the lil chap, well dressed as he is. Two thumbs up.
  4. I like that 1/35. and 1/16 comparison you are doing here, it is very interesting. That Panzer Camp putty does look awesome and useful indeed, noted. /Stefan
  5. Prost u2. Still lots to learn. Actually, I need double that, as the back sides need the counter screw(no clue about the correct terminology here)....🙈 Any brand that you'd suggest before I am ordering the correct ones?
  6. Congrats to the 10k mark! Always interesting stuff coming our way via your keyboard (or touchscreen). Keep those posts coming.
  7. I just caught up on this. Please tell me before you are ordering styrene the next time, I will buy some Evergreen stocks beforehand! It is not even front running^^ and let's hope they are actually listed on the pinks. I just love this project, despite it eating up a lot of my spare time. Prost, going to a vineyard reception/party tonight, I will raise a glass to this one here. /Stefan
  8. Getting better every day. Masking the interior will be a major pain in the *****, but it will all be worth the while in the end. FYI: Later in the war, King Tigers were not allowed to carry ammo in the turret btw. It was a Fuhrerbefehl from early '45.
  9. Simon, I like the determination and accuracy you are going for here. Great stuff. Also fun are all your markings and measures, but make sure to clean them off before priming, however. I always thought that you had been the longshanks, I guess now Soeren confirmed this^^. /Stefan
  10. I must have been blind, they were visible in every picture, I beg your pardon. Quite an impressive speed you are showing here and it is coming together extremely mice!
  11. Plastic progress olé! There is quite a lot of interior support stuff, which I have prepared recently. It matches the width of the new front, which is important, needs to be sanded and bolts added to it. I ordered 800+, but they were the wrong kind (hex screws, not hex-bolts <- if anyone needs them, let me know! I will post info about them once I got them at hand), Now I need to order yet more and wait again... This is where they would belong, but the old frame is ***- This is how it should be like. Notice that my previous modifications were also partially wrong in shape and design (the parts already painted^^). There are three vertical support plates that are yet missing, each connecting the lower horizontal ones to the "frame ceiling". At the right, no, lower down, not the beer, you can see the vertical support structures. I am not done with all the L-profiles yet, the vertical supports do have them on all 4 sides, not just on 2 as the horizontal ones. Cheers. /Stefan
  12. Actually, now that you told me that, I really do need one😂
  13. For a long time, this was my fav tank in war thunder sim battles. So beautiful, I can't wait to see you finish it. Good luck with those tedious track pins! Btw: that KT does look really impressive!
  14. It probably does have 2 steering wheels as the Panhard 178, would be my guess?!?
  15. Julian, Imagine buying a 1/16 model of it, they'd charge you 1xxx.99+ Euros, so it's cheap😂. Sinsheim Museum will receive it once done.
  16. Seriously? I saw them many times at Wacken and Summer Breeze, Mille is awesome, the crowds are always crazy. HSB time now. good luck with your color issues. I like it as it is, the yellow.
  17. You seriously need to start building your models way slower, I cannot follow all your super-awesome stuff. I need to take a day off work soon to catch up on it all. This is so amazing, as all your work that I have seen so far. I am admiring its tidiness, sharpness and perfection! /Stefan
  18. Cheers, it is a have-love relationship, we almost got divorced a week ago^^. Thx mate. Can I have some popcorn, too please? Mike, I think the stock kit is good already, but I got dragged away into this real deal thing, now it is just insane, but it is fun and I have learned lots. Well, I do not understand most of it either, it's all in Russian Well, launching is always easy, finishing is the other one. I am good at the first, but a faillord at the latter... Cutting more styrene and drafting new parts for the lower frame rear. Btw for the 1/16 I need 1.8mm thick styrene sheets for the frame. I think that thing will weigh many kilograms... /Stefan
  19. This is quite some serious modelling! Great effort here and nice colour analysis. I pulled my chair, Kreator is filling my ears with music while your build is treating my eyes , simply perfect. /Stefan
  20. Enjoy the build. Epoxy sand bags are fun, enjoy. Shermans are always nice to see.
  21. As said, I got the basic plans drafted. I think in 2020 I will go for the 1:16 one. I need to stockpile at least 500Euros worth of Styrene, bolts, nuts, brass pipes and wires. And so much TIME! The frame interior and new frame design is getting on rather slowly. Still waiting for the 500+ bolts and rivets... Have a good evening /Stefan
  22. This little cutie is falling together nicely. It is all looking so nice, clean and perfect. I might need to take some classes, any spare appointments available ?^^ I feel so non-German with my 0.0% order and tidiness during my projects once comparing my stuff with what all you cool people out here are doing. Always a pleasure to look into your build here. Thanks
  23. Wow, what an incredible build and what massive undertaking! There are some many awesome builds and projects going on here atm, it is like heaven. I will have another blog for my daily good night story list... Thanks for that. I wish we had a 30hour day to contribute more on here. /Stefan
