  1. I like the change. 1TB for free😂, that’s like 1k photos per day for 1 year. According to a German news article, there were only 5 people who ever needed more than 1TB, 96.2% of „free account“ subscribers are below 1000 photos. Free things in that size of ex Flickr/yahoo are paid for by adds and sale of personal data... I rather pay 50 to have my staff safe and sound without adds n stuff. The price is extremely cheap and fair imho. You can also always join accounts as a group reducing the costs 😉. I‘d eben offer mine if anyone needs a bit of storage, as I’d never need 1TB ever and im patins anyway🍻 and I will keep mine a paid account tell I am bankrupt or dead, nothing of which is expected to happen in the next decades.
  2. Mark, Can't wait to see your 1/16 Panther and the smaller brothers. The standard you have set here is quite high. I have followed silently since late 17 and it has always been a pleasure looking at your photos. Hopefully the paint from Poland arrives rather sooner than later. Prost, /Stefan
  3. The first 120+ frame holes drilled. Mostly bolt head outside + nut inside (sometimes reversed however), therefore for each hole=2 bolts/nuts-240/side i.e. 440 in total for both frame sides that could be added now. I glued both frame parts together with scotch tape and as such it looks ugly and filthy^^. As soon as the last holes are drilled, I will remove the scotch tape, clean the parts and then smooth it all and add the bolts n nuts. Sizes vary between .6 and 1.4mm, most are 1.2mm. I wish there was a miniature bolting machine, I want one! However... I have the amount of holes marked on this list and on the respective parts... so another 220 missing. Then I will need to drill and rivet up all the frame interiors... And then: These guys up top... The ones below on the right are parts of the ash pan and were mostly welded and the left bottom parts are exterior frame parts included above already. In total about 3200 (if I would add all interior ones and for the housing and so forth, which I won't), I'll have 1500-1800 in the end I think. /Stefan
  4. @Soeren Here we go... Screwing up has begun^^. Had to delve through all the materials to see which ones go where, this is quite a mess. Will see how many I'll add today. I placed 3 in the holes to show you Have a good evening in the mancave. /Stefan
  5. Hello (?insert name here😂), personal libraries are important👍🏻, I like it. /Stefan
  6. That 08 class is beautiful. There is a 1/35 and 1/72 scale WR360 C12 Diesel locomotive available, you might want to build them😂. cheers from southern Germany. /Stef
  7. This is looking great! I am, well was not, not into modern armour, but I really like your bunch here. Almost time for another group picture 😉😂. I have many rivets to be painted, I might send them to you 😂🍻, it will look better for sure. /Stef
  8. Nice support given. Never knew about this feature of both side's first two bogies. Thanks and I've got a seat reserved.
  9. Carl, you are welcome and it was fun, except for the pair of jeans that got soaked in couplings' fat-> garbage now ^^. @Soeren, I finished building the rig (so that I can drill both sides at once and in the same manner). So any of these days I will finally begin this mayhem. I am a sloth, sorry /Stef
  10. Regarding your "gun on top" question... I walked along on the top of it, and I was almost scared as it is such thin and wobbly sheet metal, I had assumed that it won't support more than 300-500kg.😂 The train guys confirmed this, as the shocks at 50+km/h and the added weight on the roof would tear the metal apart. Prost. As stated on fb, good stuff u r showing here.💪🏻
  11. Back from Berlin Find below the links to the walk arounds of 3 BR52s of Berlin BW Schöneweide BR 52 6666 walk around https://flic.kr/s/aHsmqL8ztW A close up walk around of the K4T30 at BW Schöneweide in Berlin https://flic.kr/s/aHskM7EiYL It was so greasy climbing around underneath and on top of that thing... Cheers, have a good Sunday, /STefan
  12. Between Cologne and Frankfurt when it is 30mins behind shedule and an ICE 2 😉🎉👍🏻(ICE3 and 4 are capped at 301 and 250, respectively afaik) I have a bahncard 100 😉 I use them daily^^
  13. Yes, I was aboard the ice train at 315k/hr and had to hurry 😂and I use French auto correct^^ which always plays tricks on me once I don't double check.
  14. Nice and good suggestions badder, I like them all the way. The Sherman looks good as it is, but I find it can be even more awesome with baddest ideas implemented and the wall will look sweeter also :). Files and putty for the win. /Stef
  15. Coming together nicely. Will need to read about that grey wash style of stick's you referred to. Let's hope that the bendy track will turn out good in the end! /Stef
  16. Great Cromwell there. I find the mud discussion interesting and can see both sides having their points. As this is all what some are critical of.... you shure as hell do have a superb model here👍🏻 /Stefan
  17. Any update on your loco52? Btw, I need to steal your rig technology😂 Any blueprints or drawings available, haha?
  18. Haha, I screwed up my floor tiles just now... broke the last one while installing it and now I need to buy another pack of 25 That sucks. At least I advanced with the newest plastic parts The one arm of the upmost one needs minor trimming towards the top and all more detailed smoothing. <- trying to screw up soon 😉 Cant wait to climb on top of and below the real one on Wednesday... olé Prost, happy modelling to you.
  19. On Milmod there was a guy called SimonT, he always went berserk at adding and changing parts at 1/72. If you go on like this with your first tank, you will end up like him 😂, having green(putty) white (styrene) and all kinds of other colours on your tanks...👍🏻🎉 I will follow with interest! /Stef
  20. Good evening, finally some modelling The newest design of the sidewalk support beams, now accounting for the asymmetry but the two big holes (saving weight and material) in the middle are missing. They will require final smoothing and a few more runs with the sandpaper... In the meanwhile I worked on the trucks that will go to the dio as well... I added some canvas for structure and my grandpa had one of these at his house which they used in their 4500S to stay warmer (mobile 88 Flak-battery in the East) Added the same to the 4500A truck cabin. Now I am off to business in Berlin and on Wednesday a special visit to the BR 52 6666 in Schöneweide where I will inspect the tender and some interiors of the locomotive . This is the one: * Prost, Stefan Sources: * bahnstatistik.de
  21. I can only second what has been already said, fabulous work! /Stef
  22. The airscale dial faces are a nice fix. They do add significantly to the dashboard! Very well executed. /Stef
  23. This project is getting better every day, though it started out as a masterpiece already 😂. Let's just call it most amazing.🍻 That wear and tear you have added is just perfect and my jaw smashed the keyboard now as it dropped. / Stef
  24. Hi Peter, I like the Mr Surfacer additions, it does look like cast steel, well done! how is the overall fit of the parts? /Stefan
