  5. Hi to all i had to decide what to do whit this model, built some 5 years ago. It was finished in wrong colors of Yugoslav air force, badly executed.....as PFM version is hard to find on the market i decide to try to salvage it...so he got another colors with free hand airbrushing (Egypt air force, Nile Valley camouflage 1970), added details to cockpit, weathering was done with Tamiya pastels, and sprayed with mat Gunze varnish. At the end i am happy with overall look. I hope you like it also. Best regards, and pictures and the end....
  6. Interesting one, badly beaten but for Japanese fighters nothing unacceptable. Only mu suggestion, correct position of the antenna mast should be angled to the front of the airplane. Lets go to the next model Regards Djordje
  7. Ready to fly.......so much details....amazing fiish and at the end very interesting variant with yellow tips Regards Djordje

  13. Simply beautiful! Even i am fan of heavy weathering, in this particular case......no way, this is just how it should look. Great finish. Please can you tell me which green color you used for upper surface? Best regards
  14. Very nice model of very nice plane with attractive markings. Regards
  15. Hi all Another from the series ended, aged Hasegawa, one of my favorite models, poor detailed cockpit, nice engraved panels, but finished has everything on its place. To my sorrow, invested time and efforts to fully equip coskpit, fully build interior and improved seat ... etc ..... all that once closed with canopy stays buried and almost invisible. Colors ...... questionable as always. I tried to apply everything that I've found for early Zero, which means light gray (IJN). What ever is really correct, I wanted to have two approach, IJN gray / green (i just finished airfix one) and gray of the IJN. In addition, I tried to break up the monotony with various surface shades, frankly I would not bet the reality of the final look, but I like it .... The next one will be certainly more balanced. Hinomaru and stripe painted, because my original cracked . Wash standard approach, artistic oil paint, Tamiya pastels, and Gunze varnish at the end. Pictures, with greetings to all At the very least, a comparison with his twin brother by Airfix (for comparison of shape):
  16. Hi to all Finally finished, well known airfix ZERO, in colors and markings of V-103, pilot Saburo Sakai, Tainan Kokutai, Denspar Air Base, Bali, February 1942. I liked this build as Airfix Zero is nice model with unfortunately to deep panel lines and in general somehow too wide fuselage which reflect also on wide cockpit which is quite obviously compering with Tamiya or Hasegawa models. But at the end it looks as Zero to me and in deed it is nice relaxing model to build. Colors are Tamiya XF76 with lot of different shades, weathered with artistic oils and Tamiya weathering pastels, with final cote of Gunze satin varnish. Dacals from Techmod, very old batch, hard to work with and with huge amount of silvering which i was not abble to correct fully. Now pictures. I hope you like it, best regards
  17. Hi all I am not sure why i bought this ugly bird....but as i started work on other drones, predator, raptor...it was somehow in line with this path. Easy to build, general very good fitting, simple, only issue is with wings in the root, where you need to be careful to align properly, simple color scheme just with different shades of some panels in gunship gray , minimal almost none weathering, some silvering after applying decals even with gloss finish and use of decal solvent solutions (at the end Tamiya ultra thin cement save the day).......and that was all......at the end only stayed to find enough place in the display cabinet for this beast. In general, not nice looking flying machine.....but somehow different. I hope you will like photos...but it is hard to expect with this ugly thing. Best regards to all
