  1. Found them! https://www.caracalmodels.com/cd48090.html Now for the new scheme please!
  2. Both Xtradecal and Two Bobs did the 70th Anniversary of D-Day scheme in 1/48. That was the grey aircraft with D-Day stripes, but the latest Typhoon FGR.4 in full camouflage and stripes looks stunning! Did anyone release the BoB tribute decals? I’m just thinking of a double build here… 😉
  3. Wow! Now this is superb! The RAF Typhoon Display Team have released details and photos of the 2024 display aircraft in full D-Day livery. 1/48 decals please!!!!! https://www.raf.mod.uk/news/articles/newly-painted-aircraft-revealed-by-typhoon-display-team-ahead-of-2024-season/
  4. Hi Neil, Wow! Stunning job on this lovely Cessna and like yourself I too have very fond memories of the Airfix 1/72 kit. Right, off to Hannant's website to order one of these!
  5. Those first photos could have been taken from the control tower of a 1:1 version! Had you not posted these on a modelling site, I'd never have known she was nothing other than a factory fresh real-life B737!
  6. Wowsers!! I had no idea that the JP4 was ever in that scheme with the lo-vis roundels. A stunningly gorgeous model!
  7. I was one of the few pilots at that time that really loved the 'World Image' liveries. The Chatham tail on Concorde was superb! But the 'lesser' fleets were far more interesting with my particular favourite being the Tartan-tailed B757s and the English Rose on the fin of the B747. However, some people were far from amused...
  8. Insomnia has resulted in me surfing pages here and found this. Simply superb!
  9. One regret in my flying career is that I never got to fly the B747. The other regret is Concorde... Anyway, she's beautiful Tom!
  10. Wow! What is it about today? I decide to have a coffee, look at my fave modelling site and see model after model that are all amazing! This is amongst them! 🥰
  11. There is really some amazing work on display on this site, but this is another level! The photographs are amazing (I love the head-on shot!) and the attention to detail is remarkable.
  12. Hi Al! Hope you’re well? So I did a bit of research and have discovered that Alley Cat did produce a 1/24 conversion! But then I saw your link to it and the price, plus the kit, which are now selling for north of £300, plus any other aftermarket stuff to make it into a masterpiece, makes it an expensive project! But where to display the finished thing? 😳😳
  13. Hi FG2Si and thanks for your reply! OK, the kit that I have is a Tamiya kit in 1/32 and your work above is certainly an inspiration!
  14. That's really quite amazing! I flew the BN2-T Turbine Islander whilst it was in service with the Joint Services Parachute Centre at Bad Lippspringe, West Germany way back in 1987. Many trips back and forward to the factory.
  15. Hi everyone and calling all you Mosquito experts out there! I've been looking at D-Day subjects (80th anniversary this year) and I've been drawn to the Mosquito's involvement and was rather drawn to the F.B.Mk.XVIII, or 'Tsetse' version with the Molins converted 6-pounder gun. I know that Paragon did produce a resin conversion set in 1/48 (I've already asked if anyone has one available in the 'Wanted' section of 'Buy/Sell') but does anyone know if a 1/32 set was ever produced?
  16. Hi, from across the channel in France! I had a minor connection with Bembridge a long time ago ☺️
  17. I did not notice the blue until you pointed it out; I was far too busy admiring your amazing camouflage work!
  18. Firstly, what an incredibly beautiful aircraft! Not a manufacturer that I am overly familiar with to be honest, but seriously, who could not love that design! Then, of course, there is your model which is an absolute gem! One that I would certainly be very, very proud of!
  19. I've just come across this and I'm amazed at these MFH kits. Really lovely work so far and can't wait to see the finished result!
  20. Wow! That's amazing work, both modelling and photography and as has already been said, some of those photos could be of the 1:1 scale version! Although yours is a 22 Sqn aircraft, I have very happy memories of watching the 202 Sqn Sea Kings at RAF Manston in the late 1980s.
  21. Now that’s really lovely! My credit card will take a hit tomorrow as I’ve already thought about getting this kit but seeing yours has made me decide to get one.
  22. From one Mark to another, what a fantastic job you’ve done on your Bf109F. The pre-shading works really under desert schemes and you really nailed it! And from one commercial pilot to another, many congratulations to your son!
