  1. I'll join this GB with another braillescale, although this one isn't of typical gabarites of most of my kits Jokes aside, due to limited space at home, some of larger planes I choose to do in 1/144, and this one is one of them. Pretty nice kit judging by look of sprues, we'll see how fit goes... Cheers, S.
  2. And so we go.. first steps are done, just to get into the rhythm after holidays. All is prepared for first layers of primer and color - interior area... Cheers, S.
  3. Thanks mates, I'm glad you like this one. I pretty much respect what-if themes, although I personally am not too much skilled for real what-if "surgery" works - when you have to cut half of kit to merge with some other parts. My sphere of what-ifery is actually mostly "alternative history and/or retro/commemorative liveries", so when I find some new appropriate model, I'll let you know Cheers and all the best in 2022, Srđan
  4. Hello mates, First of all, I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New 2022! Time has finally come to get to work on some new model(s) For this (ST)GB I've chosen Dragon dual kit pack of F/A-18E Super Hornets in braillescale. Decals are given for VFA-31 Tomcatters and VFA-105 Gunslingers. As wings can be assembled fully stretched or bended for parking in carrier hangar, I plan to make one of them (most probably VFA-105 as it's less colorful in general) in that pose, but fully armed. Here is the preview photo, and see you soon with some photos from the bench! Cheers, Srđan
  5. 2021. was my most productive year so far - I've managed to complete 20 kits - and I must admit that 11 kits were made on purpose for Britmodeller Groupbuilds, so, yeah, those GBs have pretty much good purpose in restoring and maintaining of modelling mojo! Big thanks to all those mates who were companions in those GBs, and of course to the organizers of GBs, and GB moderator @Enzo Matrix - I did my best to build ALL kits I applied to GBs 😈 Well, enought talking, here are my finished kits in 2021... Stay safe and healthy, and may 2022. brings us all some better days. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Srđan 13.01.2021. Revell 1/72 Pz.Kpfw. V Panther Ausf. G 17.02.2021. 6. hmmm... I guess I'll put this idea somewhere in my mind, so if I get some Leopard overplus, it shall be done Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like it. Cheers, S.
  7. You could say it would be a real CHALLENGE for them
  8. I've got this kit from my friend, but without box, assemblying manual and decals, so I decided to do it as what-if, in "retro" livery, as I had spare decals from Crusader kit - 9th Queen's Lancers, 1st Armoured Division from North Africa, December 1941. Painted with Gunze acrylics, but black fields that were brushpainted with Lifecolor matt Black. Wash and dot filtering done with artistic oils, while weathering was finalised with MIG pigments. Headlights were made from Kristal Klear.... Cheers - have nice and safe holidays and Merry Christmas to all BM members that celebrate it tomorrow Srđan
  9. Very nice and enjoyable build. Definitely smallest kit in my collection - Painted with Gunze acrylics - Wash done with artistic oils - Subtle weathering done with MIG pigments - For rigging I chose Uschi van der Rosten Fine and Superfine wires - beautiful and easy to use product - looking forward to new kits that require rigging! Cheers, Srđan
  10. Thanks Cliff, another nice GB is behind us, and didn't dissapoint in terms of plenty of great and diverse models built! Cya again in some other GB I wish all the best for upcoming holidays to all BritMod members, stay safe and have fun with some new builds! Srđan
  11. Looking great, I lihe this camouflage on UK Phantoms!
  12. Looking just great! Nice and tidy, and metal areas on tail are gorgeous! I really like these Israeli cammo schemes, too bad they won't be used on F-35s
  13. One of my favorite versions of Harrier! Nice and clean build...
  14. Nice and clean painting, but armed to the teeth!
  15. Nice cutie Steve, simple plane and camouflage but very adorable!
  16. Nice looking plane - this massive engine area give it some seriousity, and nose especially looks good in NMF in contrast to green camouflage on the rest of the plane.
  17. Looking good, nice livery and one of airliners I really adore. Too bad they are not so common to see nowadays here in Balcans...
  18. Pretty cute miniature one I like that "Danger" box decal behind wing
  19. Azur FRROM 1/72 Ikarus IK-2 - Gunze acrylics - Alclad Chrome - Artistic oils wash Cheers, S.
  20. I wasn't updating topic in the last 2 weeks as I was in final touches on this one, and here we are - finally finished! I've applied RYAF roundels on wings, did some subtle wash with artistic oils, painted and glued remaining small details and parts, and applied MIG pigments very subtle on tires and around exhaust pipes.... #18/2021 - my personal record of finished kits in one year! Cheers, and thanks to this GB hosts for having another good one inspirational challenge! Srđan
  21. Here are some of my 1/144 models, built 2016 onward... Cheers, S.
  22. Count me in too, please. I have quite a few candidates for this one, I wish to finish remaining 144s in next few years, while I still can make some use of my "mycroscopic vision system", and then finally fully devote myself to true scale - 1/72
  23. Painting is done - metal covered areas were painted with Alclad Chrome. I'll leave it for couple of days to cure fully and then I'll cover Alclad areas with Alclad Aqua Gloss before I lay roundels on wings... Hopefully it will be all finished before deadline! Cheers, S.
