  1. Thanks for the support mates! It means a lot At the moment I feel like ready to start some paintwork, so probably later today I'll have some photo update Cheers, S.
  2. Unfortunately, due to the current Covid situation, somehow I've lost modelling mojo a bit after finishing P-51 in Mustang GB Although I do have a plenty of free time at the moment, it took me a while to accomodate to situation in our country, so I am getting back to the form, but very slowly, and I am sceptical I will finish McLaren until May 10th. Anyway, I'll continue with work on it, and post updates regularly. Since last photos, I've managed to shape seat a bit (Miliput did very good job), and to make seatbelts from Nescafe can thin metal cover and some copper wire. This is how it looks as of today And dryfitted into cockpit tub... This was the main obstacle for primering and painting - in the next few days I hope to start painting/primering some parts and subassemblies - mostly parts that are to be black and/or in carbon fiber texture. Cheers and take care, Srđan
  3. Good evening mates, I hope you are all well and healthy during these hard "COVID-19" times. This is my representative in this GB - AZ model 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXc. It was bought mutually with my friend as AZ model's "Joypack 3in1" - one of 3 kits landed in my hands, so it is plastic-only. Regarding to markings, I've decided once again to build something exotic, so this one will represent Egyptian Spitfire from 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Decals are Lift Here made. See you with in-progress shots in few days. Hopefully we will all soon overcome this nasty situation, and in the meantime - take care of yourselves, and stay at home, enjoying in our beautiful hobby! Cheers from Belgrade, Serbia Srđan
  4. Well, mistakes do happen, it doesn't spoil the positives for the whole model - you've done excellent job with painting and weathering. Cheers, S.
  5. Well this is really original idea.. idea? I meant IKEA...! 😄 Cheers, S.
  6. Excellent finish, weathering and final look, but one thing catched my eye - USAF marking on lower right wing - is it positioned correctly - top of the star should point to the front of the plane? 🙄 Cheers, S.
  7. Fantastic look, and really excellent photos! Can't wait for the final photos! Cheers, S.
  8. Shiny and lovely! I really like that NMF look. Red and black parts also look like a good contrast to it, especially they are matt. Cheers, S.
  9. Sprayed roundels actually look really good - can't see any problems, and you did center circles on them perfectly. I also like that two-colored antiglare area!
  10. Chipping turned out great - it looks very realistic. Cheers, S.
  11. Very nice finish - it seems so smooth like we see on renders of new Airfix kits for example. Cheers, S.
  12. Closet in cabin is assembly from IKEA? just to make sure it is full 100% Nordic theme! 😁 Great job Jeroen, you're the "styrene master" definitelly! Cheers, S.
  13. Great job Alan, that shading of panel lines turned really interesting in the end. Cheers, S.
  14. Lovely plane in lovely livery - this yellow suits it nice, and Austrian roundels upgrade colorful look Cheers, S.
  15. Fantastic finish Seb, it does look like a real thing, both weathering and photography wise! Cheers, S.
  16. Great looking camo and white areas. Can't wait to see decals on. Cheers, S.
  17. Looking great - it seems you've matched colors from reference photo reasonably well. Cheers, S.
  18. This markings on tail really suits it - it looks a bit different to any F-84 I've seen so far. Good job Steve! Cheers, S.
  19. It turned out beatiful Reini, and nice fleet you have
