  1. Academy 1/72 Messerschmitt Me 163B Komet - Gunze acrylics - Artistic oils wash - MIG pigments for subtle weathering Cheers, S.
  2. Aaaand... it's done! Number on fuselage may be 14, but this one is #13 built in 2020, and final one... now it's time for a small break and then continuing with builds in progress Cheers and all the best in forthcoming 2021 - stay safe and take care mates! S.
  3. Done with ease during past few months, in pauses of other projects. Painted with Gunze acryllics, wash done with artistic oils Cheers and all the best in forthcoming 2021! S.
  4. Heller 1/72 Somua S35 - Gunze & Lifecolor acrylics - Metal barrel - OKB Grigorov photoetched detail set and photoetched tracks - Artistic oils wash - MIG pigments for weathering Cheers, S.
  5. I'll call this build done before this year's out - small details painted, wash done with artistic oils and weathering done with MIG pigments... Cheers, S.
  6. Dark Yellow base color has been applied... Cheers, S.
  7. Thanks Pat, I've tried my best regarding to mottling, it's not so smooth as I've anticipated, but it'll do Of course I don't mind if you use same livery, it will be interesting to see it done in your style Cheers, Srđan
  8. Yesterday I put the decals on, and sealed them shortly with coat of gloss varnish. On my surprise these Academy react pretty well on Gunze Softener - old Academy decals were notorious for not reacting on most of decal solutions. Swastikas are not part of the kit's decals so I had to find them in aftermarket set... Cheers, S.
  9. Thanks mates. Yesterday I put decals on their place - I risked with applying them onto (semi) matt surface, and it turned out OK. I've sealed them shortly with coat of gloss varnish, so there's no silvering visible (so far). Cheers, S.
  10. Primer (Mr. Surfacer 1500 Black) has been applied... Cheers, S.
  11. Trumpeter 1/144 F-86E(M) Sabre (JRV Acro group) - Gunze acrylics - Artistic oils wash - Lift Here decals Cheers, S.
  12. Camouflage is done - I used Gunze acrylics - H73 and H336 - very similar to what Heller recommended in Humbrol equivalents. Black line that separates green and tan color was brush painted with Lifecolor matt Black. Soon decals will find their way on the kit. Cheers, S.
  13. I've finally finished with adding small PE bits, and now it's ready for the primer. Cheers, S.
  14. F-14D received two other camouflage greys - Dark Ghost Grey on front fuselage part and on intake sides, and Blue Grey on upper surfaces and rear fuselage. On photos these two are very similar and unrecognisable, but in real life there are some differences... Next step on this one is black area around cockpit - from nose to rear back... Cheers, S.
  15. White 14. I found few photos that show that example, but only from left and front side, so I've tried to replicate mottles according to them. Thanks for the kind words mates. I also hope that decals, wash and some weathering will tone down overall look and blend in the mottles. Cheers, S.
  16. Thanks guys. Here we are with RLM 81 and mottling done.... I'm not 100% sattisfied with the result, but on the other I think it's not so bad either? What's your opinion? Can I make my career in doing mottling as a decoration in houses or it is NOTtling in the end? Cheers, S.
  17. Wash is applied - mix of artistic oils - black, white and a bit of raw umbra for wheelbay. Cheers, S.
  18. Italeri 1/72 Matilda Mk. II - Gunze & Model Master acrylics - Aber metal barrels - Headlight on turret made from Kristal Klear - Artistic oils wash - MIG pigments for weathering Cheers, S.
  19. Thanks Col. Actually I'm very pleased with the fitting of parts - it may sound a bit odd, but this is my first aircraft Hasegawa kit to assemble, and I'm very satissfied with fitting level. This styrene sheet below the cockpit is just to strengthen a bit placing of the cockpit as it rests only on its side joins to the cockpit halves - maybe a most puzzling fitting on this one so far - no placeholders... just glue the cockpit tub to the fuselage half Anyways, I hope it won't take me too long until fuselage halves joining - I'm currently working on few GBs kits so.... Cheers, S.
  20. Today was the last day of work on this lady. I've made a headlight on the turret from the Kristal Klear, and did some weathering with MIG pigments. Cheers, S.
  21. Cockpit's been put to its place, some balast has been put into nose area, and exhaust tube is also on its place now... Cheers, S.
  22. Ah yes, you're correct, I've completely forgot those polls last until Dec 14th! Sorry, my bad
  23. @Enzo Matrix, no official 2021 GB&STGB calendar yet? Are these dates still provisional or we could plan for the next year according to them? Thanks in advance, S.
  24. Few more details were painted, and decals are set on their place. Not so far from the end of the work on this one Cheers, S.
