Very nice indeed John. All the additions really bring it to life.

Many thanks Roger. It was an enjoyable build. I hope the sea state is good.

This is my build of a Sherman Firefly 1c of the 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry, 4th Armoured Brigade. I’ve taken some liberties with the stowage as I don’t actually have a photo of the tank, so it’s basically just my interpretation.
The WIP can be found HERE.
Thanks for looking and thanks to all those who followed the build and commented.

You might call it over the top, but it's more like a parade ground finish compared to the condition of some of the tanks on the Russian front. It's a great model and done in such a short time. Nice one.

Thanks for the reply Glynn, but that wasn't what I meant (sorry). I was asking about he origins of the actual tank, ie; does it say anything in the instructions as to which nation built the tank as most of the Tirans came from one country (Czech I think). Each country fitted different cupolas. Seeing as the decals are Syrian, it should be fine for a Tiran.

Ironically enough, I've just receive and email from Hauler informing me that they will be at Telford next month and if anyone wants to pre order any items from them or Brengun they will bring it to the show and when you pay for it, you will receive a 15% discount. https://hauler-brengun-preordershop.webnode.co.uk/e-shop/

That's going to depress the price on the commodities market.

The MiniArt kit will be for sale any day now - it will never get started let alone finished so it's just dead space.
You and me both. I'll ry and get shot of mine at Telford. They are beautiful kits, but sooooo over engineered.

but I'd not heard of Parabellum.
They are definitely worth trying as they specialise in 1/48th scale.

That is a superb little model, and not just the tank but the base is well done also. It really does look like a wooden base. Nice one.

Looks like you're making a good job of that Ben. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

Your satnav is playing up as you've navigated your way into the afv section. Ask one of the mods to move it.

Thanks Roger. Sadly, it's just part of growing old. Hopefully it's worked first time, otherwise I have to return and do it again......oh, deep joy!
