  1. Very cool, to a Motorhead fan like me! Always regretted not seeing them live before Lemmy passed on. πŸ™ I still have my "No Sleep 'til Hammersmith" CD to play loudly though. 🀠
  2. Looks fantastic! I have several Molotow chrome pens which have served me well so far, although I have not tried spraying the "ink" (paint?) from them. Some recent work I have done with Alclad Chrome has been pretty good. Anyway, that's one beautiful "land yacht". πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  3. That is so beautiful! Even though I don't dislike the green/orange of the Le Mans winner, this simple livery really shows the gorgeous lines of the car. Your paint finish is exemplary - I am envious of the result. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  4. As a plastic kit builder, I am something of a frustrated model railway enthusiast, so I am more than happy to see this here! It looks great! Would look great on anyone's HO layout, even if it is not motorised. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  5. Fantastic! I remember seeing those advertisements and wondered how many orders they got for the kit. You certainly knocked it into shape beautifully! Awesome result! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  6. Superb! Quite a different looking Scooter to what we usually see. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  7. Excellent! I particularly like the oil streaking effects and exhaust staining on the wings. Well done! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  8. This looks good to me. These planes tended to look well-worn after a decent few months in the tropics. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  9. Very cool! I can't quite explain why, but I always liked the look of this (rather unassuming) plane and considered buying the kit very often. You've done a nice job of it - thanks for posting! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  10. Very impressive! The whole scene looks excellent! And that cockpit - amazing! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  11. Beautiful as always! Your colour accents look spot on! Yes, the P-40 is one of those planes that one could build many of & not get bored. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  12. That’s fantastic! I was amazed when I read it was brush painted! That’s not evident at all from the photos. I have the 737-800 kit still sitting in my stash. Where to display it afterwards is one of the obstacles I have not resolved yet. Your excellent build sure is an inspiration to me though. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  13. Very nice! A beautiful anniversary scheme. You and your friend did a fine job. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  14. Brilliant build and unusual scheme. Great combination! The swoop on the sides would help to hide the exhaust stains. πŸ€” πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  15. The usual perfection. A neat little jet - I’m guessing it (or something like it) was on blueprints discovered after the war. Fantastic work! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  16. Awesome β€˜copter! A work of art! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  17. Wow! Amazing! I missed this in earlier visits, but a friend recommended it. He was right - the F-4F, the figures and base are fantastic! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  18. A very commendable job on the Spit Vc. You never stop learning with this hobby. Forums like this are a great source for tips and advice. Just don’t overwhelm yourself. Keep going and try not to feel pressure to reach anyone’s particular standard - at least, not all at once. You should enjoy the building (and painting) experience and have fun as you progress. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  19. Excellent work! The Revell P-47 kit is very much a favourite of mine - a really cool kit for a price that doesn’t require a 2nd mortgage! Nice to see it in Brazilian markings. Something a little different! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  20. That’s great! TBH, I’m okay with the exhaust staining. Overall, it’s much better than my build of the kit (the non-desert version) when it first came out. Well done! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  21. Hey, there could be something in that! Perhaps the USN need to see this. πŸ˜œπŸ˜† Pretty cool being a group effort. Way to go! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  22. Beautifully done! Not a type I knew anything about. At first I thought it looked like a Beaufighter, but those that said Mosquito are nearer the mark. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  23. Looks great! Thanks for explaining the difference between Wingnut International and Wingnut Wings. It had made me wonder. Very nice build! πŸ‘πŸ‘
  24. Nice work. Can never have too many P-47’s on this forum. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  25. I think that’s very good by any measure! Hope it led to a great bonding between the two of you. I’ve built this kit too, but I think I need to have another go, to get to your standard. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
