  1. Wow! That looks excellent. The Testors Metallisers are great. The only issue I've ever had with them is being un-maskable (lifting with the tape). Beautiful aircraft too (if slightly unfamiliar to me). 😎
  2. Superb Wellington! Can't say much more than that. DK Decals are a great product too IMHO, so I trust they did not give you too much trouble. The result certainly speaks for itself.
  3. Brilliant build - I don't see any mistakes! Managing to get clear of University and getting my first job (regular income!) was what led me back to this hobby (which I confess I'd almost forgotten). So, congratulations on your new position - a very good one by the sound of it! Here's to a rewarding aeronautical career!
  4. Looks really good to me - though I have not done any in-flight model configurations myself, I really like the look. As for panel lines, I'm rather like you - they can be emphasised to whatever degree the builder desires - from nothing up to very dark and contrasting lines. Your weathering and finishing is very nice.
  5. Wow! That looks excellent - don't know how I missed this. Glad I took a look. The model is so well finished and neatly built.
  6. Nice video and a very neat little build. I really hope the video inspires more than a few casual viewers to take up kit building.
  7. Very nice build. And how Spitfire-influenced is that wing shape, eh? Well, so it seems to me anyway.
  8. That's what I would call the "factory fresh" look. Extremely well executed.
  9. Superb work - such detail applied on a tiny model! I was unaware of this being moulded in clear - not any easy plastic "colour" to deal with. It testifies to you great ability and fine detail skills.
  10. Thanks Chris - I'm learning something new from your diagrams. Lovely model too, Zarichta! Superb!
  11. Very nice build of what is (to me at least) somewhat of a tragic plane. Mind you, I imagine that expecting to control a beast like this and survive the experience would've been a brave proposition anyway. Great model of a thought-provoking machine.
  12. Wow! That's a prize-winner for sure. Well done!
  13. Very nice Bf-109! I have an ICM 109 kit stashed away and would be well pleased to complete it as tidily as yours. The mottled camo is scary but you seem to have nailed it.
  14. Very nice! I recall building a few of these in my boyhood. Perhaps luckily, they don't survive - they would not hold a candle to your build.
  15. Top stuff! Your clean technique, precision and weathering ability are obvious from the photos. Really nice portrayal of the RAAF "whispering death".
  16. Very nice Tomahawk in 1/72 - certainly as good as any I've seen around this forum. Well done!
  17. Awesomely eye-catching model! I have the Revell kit in my stash (ex-Matchbox I am led to understand). Not sure if the ICM is the same plastic or a new tooling. In any case your build is a fine testament to your modelling skills, for sure.
  18. Great P-47! The discussions about rockets and tanks are very absorbing, though I'm happy to be convinced of the possibilities by such a fine model.
  19. Beautifully presented replicas of this venerable FAA and Air Force aircraft. Re-postings since the "great Photobucket Rebellion" are much welcomed by myself and hopefully others.
  20. Awesome Lightning! I've coveted the RS Models kit for quite a while now, but never took the plunge. Judging by some commentaries you have done an awesome job to get it looking so perfect. 👍
  21. Looks terrific! A most impressive aircraft to see flying overhead (RAAF machines in my case). You've done a great job. Brush painted? Wow! It doesn't show.
  22. Excellent! An interesting study in squadron-applied camo (or so I assume). This kit is a fairly recent release, is it not? Anyway it sure looks fantastic.
  23. I loved that scene! Jaw-dropping stuff (especially to a young five year old)!! At that age, I was easily convinced that I was seeing real Bf-109's - had never heard of a Buchon. Still love to see the movie when it turns up on TV now and then.
  24. Fantastic work - all three! Nicely themed group of post-war (??) Spits.
  25. That looks great! I have built the kit too, and it goes together quite nicely - lacking cockpit detail perhaps, but I'm okay with that. Your build looks just right to me - the weathering and fading really sets it off.
