  1. Excellent work! The Revell P-47 kit is very much a favourite of mine - a really cool kit for a price that doesn’t require a 2nd mortgage! Nice to see it in Brazilian markings. Something a little different! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  2. That’s great! TBH, I’m okay with the exhaust staining. Overall, it’s much better than my build of the kit (the non-desert version) when it first came out. Well done! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  3. Hey, there could be something in that! Perhaps the USN need to see this. πŸ˜œπŸ˜† Pretty cool being a group effort. Way to go! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  4. Beautifully done! Not a type I knew anything about. At first I thought it looked like a Beaufighter, but those that said Mosquito are nearer the mark. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  5. Looks great! Thanks for explaining the difference between Wingnut International and Wingnut Wings. It had made me wonder. Very nice build! πŸ‘πŸ‘
  6. Nice work. Can never have too many P-47’s on this forum. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  7. I think that’s very good by any measure! Hope it led to a great bonding between the two of you. I’ve built this kit too, but I think I need to have another go, to get to your standard. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  8. A top notch build! The multi-hued metal finish is fantastic. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  9. Absolutely stunning build! A true masterpiece of 1/72 scale! Could easily pass for something much larger. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  10. Awesome! A very fine collection too! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  11. Fantastic work! Very cool! πŸ‘πŸ‘
  12. Very imaginative display and so beautifully painted and finished! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  13. Perhaps not the most graceful looking aircraft, but it sure is an excellent model! Definitely ten out of ten from me! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  14. This really does look like a fabulous kit! I have no complaints about Hasegawa's J-Model and this looks every bit as nice as that!
  15. Brilliantly done and fascinating to look at. The designers seem to have followed the template for aerodynamic engine fairings and then thrown that thought process aside for the fuselage! Beautifully realised model though. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  16. Top notch work! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  17. Excellent work on the Barracuda! It reflects your skill and hard work. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ I also thank you for the B&W photo which is a great capture (on film) of a less well-known plane. I love period photos like that.
  18. Incredibly good result, starting with a vac-form! A rare type indeed. Awesome job! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘Œ
  19. Excellent! I love to see P-47’s, especially with so many combinations of nose art and colour patterns to choose from. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  20. That is incredible! Taking scale modelling into the realms of a true art form! Truly amazing. 😳 πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  21. Excellent! The weathering is superb! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  22. Awesome! I only flew once in a 747 (QANTAS Sydney to LA). Well, twice, including the return flight. 😜 However, the QANTAS Museum in Longreach Australia has a well-preserved specimen (although retired from flight duties). It’s wonderful to tour through her and appreciate this most iconic of airliners. Beautiful model! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  23. Brilliant! I didn’t know of this plane’s existence until a friend showed me his (unbuilt) kit about a decade ago. Your build is very impressive, especially knowing how old the tooling is. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
