  1. Amazing work on a teenieweenie kit 👏 whenever I see a 1/43 car I'm blown away by what people can achieve in such a small scale. Andy.
  2. I love watching people scratchbuilding! Looks like what it's supposed to also... so 10/10 Andy.
  3. This ones a right bugger, Looking great though! Taking mental notes for when I build mine 🫥 Andy
  4. Yeah, I thought it was a BSA, but it is a triumph 🫠 I made the badges, the kit bike is non branded. Cheers, Andy.
  5. Thanks, I was thinking if this was a few years back I'd have binned it! I think 3d printing will mean far less scrapped models 🤔 Andy
  6. Some kits just want to be fondled alot until they comply 🫠 looking absolutely great! Andy.
  7. Hello, A small update on this little ***t of a kit, it really is fighting me, the main issue is the plastic is not normal styrene, it's slightly rubbery, it is covered in little cracks, doesn't sand easily and isn't taking paint well. As a result of this, I had a mishap with the front end, it would not accept a glossy finish, kept sucking in the paint and going crazed, I decided to strip the paint in my usual stripper of choice that i have used for years... it ate into the plastic and rendered it useless 😖 3d printing to the rescue. I modelled up a new component with better provisions for lighting, last night I printed it and I am very happy indeed 😊 I have also got some tiny BA screws and nuts for the axle. Cheers, Andy.
  8. Be good if I lived near there, one of his articles inspired me as a kid to build models, I remember asking mum and dad for the kits he built in this magazine for my birthday but they couldn't afford them back then, I have built them now though. Not as good as matts attempt though!
  9. Thanks Keith, It's a slow burner, I don't have a dedicated set up for modelling now so it's a bit of a faff, progress is sloooooow, but yes, I'm quite happy so far! Andy.
  10. Small progress has been made, it's actually looking OK, just assembled as a mock up to see how we're looking, quite happy at this point 👉 cheers Andy.
  11. The 1970s films are in glorious technicolour and the first one is excellent. The Arkham games are great, although I haven't played Gotham knights. Have you watched the original batman films with Michael keaton? They are excellent. I built a vinyl kit from the first film a couple of years back. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235109762-batman-89-billiken-16/ Andy.
  12. Brilliant, I built this kit as a kid and it was pride of place on my shelf for many moons, top Job 👍
  13. Looks great 👍 nice vivid colours and neat painting. the original 1970's Superman films are great, as well as man of Steel and Batman Vs Superman more recently. Also there was a great PS2 superman game many years ago 😊
  14. Lovely, have you got any more pictures, it's onky logical we want to see more. I'm quite partial to a vinyl kit 😍
  15. That is a mighty clean looking build, could be showroom photos of the real thing. Andy.
  16. That's amazing, looks like someone's first car or something if you know what I mean, not unloved... just underfunded! I love the welded 1/4 panel and whatnot, like a running restoration. Oh and that front wing turned out perfect. What's next? Andy.
  17. 3 superb and exciting Bentley builds, what a time to be alive!
  18. On the 1:1 scale porsche 356, that would represent an overlapping panel that the floor pan sits into at the back buuuuut... I think you are right that it's just a moulding anomaly. Andy.
  19. You're doing a great job on this, some of my best results have been from old Airfix boilers, they are so cheap and offer so much room for scratch building as you are doing here, can't wait for more updates. Andy.
  20. I'm currently awaiting a shipment of Humbrol Acrylic clear to apply before I start weathering... updates soon 😊
  21. Thanks, I've never tried working lights before but I had some translucent red resin and some clear UV resin and some tiny LED's, so thought I'd give it a go.
