  1. Absolutely Stunning, a masterpiece of scratchbuilding and patience... XJ13 next? Andy.
  2. Hi Bob, Glad you like it, the 'dents' were actually sink marks in the plastic that I left to look like dent's, cunning eh? on the engine, I haven't got a clue what it's supposed to be I do know it's a HEMI in real life though, I just detailed it with some Mopar decals I made and some tubes and doohdads just to busy it up a bit. Cheers, Andy.
  3. Merry Boxing day to you all, I finished this build quite some time ago and forgot to post a RFI, I got a new camera for Christmas so decided to try to get some half decent pics of the General! So after some heavy modification and lots of home made decals we have this, I am quite pleased with how it turned out considering what a dog of a kit it is. General Lee WIP Best Christmas wishes to you all. Andy.
  4. still needs some miscellaneous junk on the dash... and rust around the wheelarches Cheers, Andy
  5. Hi Ashley, I too had this a couple of times as a kid, I think as a set with a Poogot and something else? Lovely job on this I thought it was 1/24 until I read otherwise I also had the Focus and Mitsubishi rally cars in 1/24, I'd like to pick up a Heller Jag XJ-S at some point, I remember it being pretty good. get the others built and posted, makes a nice change to see some 1/43 scale kit! Cheers, Andy.
  6. Hi Pete, Puuurfect job on the big cat, and what an exquisite kit as well do you agree? I built one many moons ago when I was a kid, so of coarse it looked naff, But this looks great! top job Cheers, Andy.
  7. They Have. http://www.airfix.com/uk-en/hawker-typhoon-1-72.html And a britmodeller build. Tis' an exquisite kit Andy.
  8. You can get this remould of the Horizon Spider-man on 'That Auction Site' (don't know why nobody mentions it... but at this point I'm afraid to ask) I do believe it is the same one that @Hunter Rose is currently building. I can vouch for the company and they deliver quickly and are well packaged, you just need a little more effort to get the fit correct. I have PM'd you the site Andy.
  9. What a transformation and in only 2 hours, very impressive Andy.
  10. Exactly, definitely 'Orange' nobody can argue with that Andy.
  11. Brilliant, lovely painting and lights, I love these vinyl kits. Andy.
  12. Stunning, I thought it was a 1/24 when initially scrolling through, beautiful scale weathering and colour... I'm 27 and have never built a Hurricane for some reason, must get this kit Andy.
  13. Lovely Typhoon, very neat and crisp, these little Airfix kits are so good nowadays that they always look like a much larger scale. Andy.
  14. Wow!! that's a nice looking Merc, some of them closeups look real, as said before that colour combo really works, the display stand looks cool to Andy.
  15. Nice clean build, I have not seen the new NSX before this, that's a handsome looking car especially in white! Andy.
  16. Glad to hear others mess up the paint as well, Thought it was just me that had such bad luck with hair/gouges/dropping bits/finger-prints and other miscellaneous fluff appearing on the most perfect paint job ever you'll sort it I'm sure, still is annoying though. Good Luck, Andy.
  17. That's fantastic, very visually interesting and the lights add to the spookyness Andy
  18. Hello Barry, The colour is a widely and nastily debated subject on these cars, When I made mine I used halfords 'Volkswagen Brilliant Orange' it seemed orangey enough to me and they spray really nicely. AMT General Lee Hope this helps. Cheers, Andy.
