What a dillemma. I bought the Special Hobby one for the Armada camo without knowing about the detail with the shape of the fuselage. Upon learning about it, though, I immediately proceeded to scrape and sand the strong angles in hope that I wouldn't go through the plastic. Thankfully, Special Hobby does it with some think plastic. I don't think I will be able to get to the shape of the first picture without going through the plastic but as the second picture shows, I might not need to worry too much. Was there a guy in one of these forums who was a Cobra pilot? Maybe he could tell us if later Cobra versions were a little more plump over there -perhaps due to a more powerful engine?
PS: On the first picture, the tail rotor appears on the left. Correct me if I'm wrong but that corresponds to the very early versions of the Cobra, hence smaller engine and narrower fuselage, right?
