  1. Prime example being several of the CMK "improvement" sets for the Revell 1/72 He-177, flying surfaces and bombs bay being an exact duplicate of the kit parts.
  2. Actually nothing different from other vendors, only the BL755 derived LGBs, and none of the more modern ones.
  3. Here's to hoping that they eventually issue a slatted wing for late Es, Fs, Gs and Ss even though the frameless winshield would only be for Es and Gs.
  4. That's what you get for not reading all the topics, you bad boy!😳
  5. Mine just comes naturally off centre, perhaps a bit more than 1/6 of a mm (for y'all anglos that is 6.3/100 of an inch or 0.0063 "), I wonder how many modellers will get that in place (if they can see that at all).
  6. I am just going to leave this here, 7/16 of an inch is 1/6 of a mm in 1/72 scale............
  7. The 1/72 Ki-21 had not seen the light in ages and I believe it was one of the very nice IJ aircraft that were molded by a different company, for one their P1Y was as good if not better than Hasegawa's. If it's the same one, that it also is a different variant than ICM's one.
  8. Great model build. The Skyshark was perhaps proposed as a successor to the Skyraider, it was powered by the same XT-40 twin turboprop engine that went into other notorious designs as the X-18, XFV-1 Pogo, XFY-1 Salmon, Convair XP5Y Tradewind, XF-84H Thunderscreech and perhaps a couple more prototypes of the time.
  9. Depends whether the site has been hacked.
  10. December 30th is in two days, yet no preview, or even 3d projections exist of this kit and they are asking to pay 150$ to preorder vaporware. All of their other kits had plenty of previews. Look out for scams.
  11. Hey, what a surprise Hey what a surprise! Guess you never bought a Mach 2 kit before? But they tackle subjects that no other manufacturer would touch (wrongly at times) so it may be a go for me. Now, where are those ATI and Alitalia decals?
  12. As I mentioned earlier, Trumpeter's weapons are to be expected to be underscale, just look at the AGM-45 and 78 in their F-105G
  13. Dude! That is AWESOME! And a very unusual subject to boot!🫡
  14. Very optimistic of you. I personally found out in several facebook modelling communities that the younger modelers only talk Yataka (or whatever) codes, asking what paint number is better, rather than spending as much as 2 minutes researching the subject at hand. It's mostly the oldliners (sigh!) that take the time researching what they want to build. But this is symptomatic of just about everything in nowadays society.
  15. Agree 100%, I noticed several manufacturers are shying away from referring to actual colors and just mentioning their favorite paint brands. Not that many modellers would know the difference.
  16. Has anyone done a side to side comparison with the Special Hobby kit, or for what it matters with the venerable Airfix or Italeri?
  17. Nice model, looks like is pulling Gs right off the ground!
