I've been researching Dad's flying record from his log with particular reference to his Spitfire hours. So I was very excited to pick up this thread on 277 SQN where Dad spent most of the war ending up as AOC at Shoreham until the end of 1944 when he transferred to Typhoons on 184 SQN. I have a photo of him in the cockpit of BA-G and was keen to identify the Spit. Many thanks for solving the mystery and identifying it as Mk 11c P7605.
