    So, I’m working away from home at the moment and have very little time for model building, but I happened across a metal Earth millennium falcon when I was looking for something else entirely in a Maplin in Derby. Bought this for £6.99 and had a quick build: The only tools I had with me was my Leatherman Wave (I was really missing my magnifying visor), so I think the results were ok(ish) considering. It got me thinking though, if anyone out there is looking for PE Greeblies then you can get a shed load for only £6.99 from your local maplin (while stocks last).

    Got to agree with Mr Foxfouruncle - adding your own details there is going to make it that much more “your build”. It’s looking really good.

    They look really good; that little piece of armour plating made all the difference and then when you added the detail it was even better. I have really been enjoying this build from day 1 but am now in a bit of a quandary - I want it to finish so I can see the end result, but I don’t want it to finish because I’m enjoying your WIP so much

    I’m the same - just up to series 3 episode 19, those Vipers have taken a hell of a battering, when I eventually build mine I’m not going as extreme as they are in the show right now as it may look a little over done. I’m very interested that see how this one turns out.

    Got one of these in the stash but I want to improve some of my painting and weathering skills before starting it. I'm also going to have to get a lighting kit from Warren for it. You planning on lighting yours?

    This is looking glorious. It is pretty much how I would have weathered it if I actually had the skills to do what I see in my mind when I attempt it. Looking really good.

    Isn’t that a Proctologist? well, my background is mechanical engineering (aerospace) and I am finding all of your build absolutely fascinating!
