  1. This really is some next level work. I’ve learnt a lot from following your process. Thank you for sharing!
  2. That cone of shame was the perfect finishing touch!
  3. This little beauty arrived on Saturday I REALLY need to get some time at the bench to do some building again, especially as the Prusa Mk4 and Enclosure are finally together
  4. Ok, not strictly Sci-Fi stuff, but as I’m a colossal nerd, it will be making LOTS of Sci-Fi stuff (I have the files for a 1:1 R2-D2) now I just have to find 12 hours to build everything
  5. This for me will always be the Batmobile - love the work on the bat Sigil too.
  6. Following this build - I have one in the stash amd im VERY interested in how you are going to go about lighting this
  7. First place I’d look is Bricklink https://www.bricklink.com/catalogTree.asp?itemType=P They have a very good reputation
  8. Imperial Shuttle Tydirium Turned up yesterday in the post from Rails of Sheffield (very good service) now all I have to do is retire so I have the time to start building things again!
  9. Finally got my latest package from Japan after paying the ransom fee to the post office this krieger has been contemplated for over 2 years and I finally found it at the right price
  10. This series must surely be due a reboot - it would be awesome (but with a slight name change obvs)
  11. I don’t know anything about the source material for these, but every time I see one of these kits they look amazing. I had a alum 168 Camel in my Amazon wish list for ages; then the price went mental! you’ve done a cracking g job with these!
  12. Well, this little fella turned up today but having read the previous posts, I’m VERY tempted to look for a 1/72 Eagle now!
  13. One of these is definitely going on my wish list. Had a die cast one as a kid that I loved to bits and took a serious hammering, my mate had one that winched down containers using a magnetic grapple - man I was jealous! hopefully you will have a build thread that I can follow!
  14. Another from the same order has arrived but this one from a different vendor also different here is the model has been stripped from the sprues and assembled, the original owner also did a little questionable dry brushing. I’ll be stripping this one back down to component parts, cleaning and painting. Just got a sand trooper to come now and I have all the ones I’m wanting (for now in all likelihood). I just need to retire so that I can actually spend time building anything😁
  15. Nice one, the colour used in Aliens was actually “Vintage Brown Bess” by floqil - Archive X paints carry that colour
  16. Well if you want screen accurate paint, archive-x have ‘Vintage Brown Bess’ which is what was used on the production - they were actually brown and not grey as they sometimes appear I’m very jealous!
  17. Yeah, mine arrived today and the likeness of Ripley is a bit off, she is not going in mine though, I’m going to build an empty one
  18. It is yes, only had a cursory look at the sprues but they look clean. It wasn’t cheap but I have waited a loooong time to find one and eventually saw this on Japanese Amazon for a decent price (ish)
  19. Not really from the post man today, but I also finally finished putting together my Hobbyzone modular sets and organising them this was just in time to fit in the last of my archive x paints - finally got the complete set of all 42. The tilting storage drawers for paints are spot on, only able to store 9 per drawer of the archive x, but there is space above for citadel or tamiya, you can get 20 Vallejo per drawer though.
  20. these have just been imported from Japan via ‘Buyee’ - my son was putting together an order for shipping so I got my items shipped internally to the Buyee warehouse and added to his package. Best part is we won the customs lottery and did not have to pay the ransom fee.
