    I notice a Thai style temple lower right corner of the boxart. Frrom site said "SMB2 n°110 (01/10) over Bangkok, February 1961, OTASE cruise". Any more story behind this? I know RAF Hunters at Chiang Mai or Ubon Aussie Sabre but French Super Mystere in Thailand or South East Asia is something new to me.

    Hello guys. I am interested a Matchbox 1/72 Westland Wessex HU.5 kit somewhere online so I just need to know is it appropriate for a Wessex during Falklands conflict and please suggest me if there are any aftermaker decals for the particular subject.

    It's true that there are many ways to give modelers ease of building. But it's also true that there are newly tooled kits from various manufacturers with even worse design no matter what year it is. This is just the way Roden chose to go under their capabilities and limitations we may never know. Anyway congrats to your lovely gigantic build!

    Impressive! Edit: I think that kit designer team preferred two halves wheel to avoid ejector pin marks on tire sidewalls or wheel hub details happen to some kits. For example, Otaki C-5 wheels which are tedious to fill and sand more than two dozen times while trying to keep wheel hubs intact.

    Separate flaps and slats... Nice touch! Parking C-5's Flaps and slats are left deployed most of the time I see them. Edit: I am curious how rather unusual looking of landing gears, gear doors and wheel well structures of the real thing are replicated into plastic. I used to improve/rebuild/scratchbuild undercarriage system on my Otaki kit... a bit pain especially complex arrangement of C-5 main gear doors.

    C-5 and 48th O-1... More than a year ago I had email to Roden suggesting 1/144 C-5 family and they never reply but now they just do it.
