Apologies if this is the wrong section... Longish time lurker, first time poster.
Dipping the toe back into model work now I'm in isolation - inspired by some of the awesome builds I've seen here, I pulled a Comet Dalek out to work on, but also pulled this kit out of the box:
It's a Cybermat kit by BCP Promotions from the mid-80s. The foam-backed fabric piece for the skirt has cracked, so will need to find a replacement.
The main shell halves aren't flush (there's a note in the bag that BCP have pre-cut them from the plastic sheet), so will need a bit of filling, I think - the kit includes a plastic strip meant to brace the shell.
Anyway, debating whether to give this one a go - has anyone here ever built one of these??
