  1. Awesome! Thank you very much Trojan. Measurements noted. Pass on the exhaust ones too if you want those done. The culmination of 5 years engineering work is coming to a head this weekend as I need to road engineer one of my project vehicles. No going out the shed for me......:(
  2. Correct. It's a Roden 1/144 720. When she is complete I will take more pics. Not sure on what colour to paint the plugs. Red or Yellow? Send me a dimension of the inner intake and I'll print some for ya' Trojan.
  3. 3D printed 707 engine plugs coming along pretty well.
  4. The bottom of my jaw is now bruised from hitting the floor so hard! Well done.
  5. Love it! Have you considered using Microscale Krystal clear for the windows?
  6. If you are concerned about sagging with PVA type stuff try this. I do one side at a time. The windows being worked on are placed facing up when curing so if there is any sagging or shrinking it will be in the middle of each window. 15 or so minutes after the first application I place another small drop into the middle of each window to give it a flatter look when cured.
  7. Hi guys, The 380 will end up being a QANTAS job too. All my airliners are Australian prototype. I did nothing to the Roden 720 besides filling in some windows at the rear. The rest of the windows were then filled, once painted, with microscale liquid windows then the decals are applied and clear coated. The decals are Hawkeye cut into sections to match. Overall I'm very happy with it. To be even more fussy I should have bought another kit and replaced number 4 engine to have a turbo compressor as the 707 138 has 3 and the 720 two. I'm saving that next Roden kit so I can pinch it's engines for the minicraft 320 I'm trying to....well....like. Some may nit pick but she looks like a 138 so I'm happy. Joe.
  8. I love the Ethiopian scheme. Something you don't see too often. I have also enjoyed this kit, so much so that I am considering tossing out my Minicraft 707 320......it's rubbish. Find attached an image of my 720 representing a 707 138. A few things to finish off yet.
