  1. I just bought the basic version... It was cheap and had a smashed canopy, so depending what this is like might as well check it out.
  2. I assume there is no relation to the Flying Machines kit. Regardless, sign me up!
  3. Dora wings, in me you have a lifelong fan and customer. Your models and subjects are awesome, keep up the great work (expecially in 48th scale.)
  4. That's some troubling information you bring up, friend. Thanks for going through this work for us, though.
  5. I am very excited for this release. Seems very rapid as well. Keep up the good work on interesting subjects, Mikro Mir.
  6. Compared to what, exactly? With the quality and dedication we receive from Tamiya, the price is quite fair.
  7. The automobiles are killing me. So many Japanese aviation subjects left undone. Hasegawa you were my hope for a 1/48th Jake.
  8. They only sell it off their website? It's bound to show up on Hannants or modelsua.
  9. Holy cow, this aircraft gets better and better. It's air gunner was a WWI pilot? Gotta love that.
  10. Hello, I am currently doing a Whipple special, that is two builds of the same type at once. I'm working on the Airfix and Classic Airframes kits. I have plenty of sources on the Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I but not as much info on the Mk.II, so the Classic Airframes is lagging behind. I want to model the Mk.II that got the last kill for the Defiant in the war, supposedly aircraft AA420 in 1942. In the Osprey Aircraft of the Aces number 105, page 85, it says here AA420 of No 264 squadron shot down a He 111 on April 18, 1942 for the Defiant's final victory. There are no photos of AA420, as far as I can tell. Says here it was flown by Flg Off A.I. Stuart and gunned by Flg Off M.H. Maggs. Any information out there on AA420? I'd love photos, but I know those aren't always around. As always, thanks for looking and any input is appreciated.
  11. Excuse me, good sir... I am currently building the 48th scale Special Hobby Oxford and I want to do an Iraq machine. You mentioned you know of photos of P1945, you wouldn't happen to have them now, do you? I know this post is quite old, and photos of No.4 FTS are non-existent, but it's worth a shot.
  12. I eagerly update Hannants new arrivals every day, where is this thing?
  13. So for those of us who already own the old model, can we get the new replacement parts?
  14. They should stop trying to repop old, bad kits. Trumpeter has improved since thier dark days and should move on. I can only imagine its a way to ship unsold sprues, or a shameless money grab *coughakinteractive109cough*
  15. I'm not kidding you, its blatantly shown on the box preview. If it has been stated that the cockpit floor on the real plane is the top of the wing, why is the cockpit floor shown in this picture a good half inch above the wing? Look how shriveled the seat and rudder pedals are, shrunk in order to accommodate the floor. Even the ammo box had to be placed into the fake floor, and its normally suspended above it.
  16. This looks to be based on the Trumpeter kit. It has the same absurdly shallow cockpit and the front end is lower than it should be. I strongly advise waiting for the Airfix.
