  1. Hello JB a replacement vacform canopy from Rob Taurus will do miracles for these ICM kits …they even fit better! Nice work sofar 👍 https://www.aviationmegastore.com/nl/modelbouw/canopy-north-american-p51b-malcolm-hood-mustang-icm-rob-taurus-canopies-rt48013-99840.html cheers, Jan
  2. Nice Kalle this pax B17 is looking great 👍 I love it ! cheers, Jan
  3. Maybe they have set a zero too many by accident when they made the page 🤫😂 cheers, Jan
  4. Wow pricing is hideous at least….
  5. You didn’t read the rest of this topic 😉 most probably an Airfix clone …
  6. I agree as there are certain (a lot)parts exactly the same as in the Airfix Dak ! Take the horizontal stabilizers (exactly the same shape) , glassparts , gear parts……. Is this a bad thing? No not at all and I hope it has the spoked wheel, at least I have one on preorder at the aviation megastore… Lets hope it has the outer leading edge in a concave shape as well then it will be a cracker ! I only can’t find a clear part for the cockpit escape hatch which is seen on these aircraft as well! cheers, Jan
  7. Airfix is shape wise still the best as a base as they are the only one that have the crossections right …but the Esci is best second runnerup albiet underscaled! This is a opinion I have after flying 39 years of DC3’s as a pap and modeller I have the alleycat conversions which are super 👌 for the Airfix They only thing A&A have in their favor is that they have the BT67 in one box at a fair price and I am very interested in what they make of it! I will certainly by one ☺️and I love their effort to tackle tis subject 👍 The A-model Li2 is not bad at all by the way and better than the Esci 😜 as a base ! But they say new molds, and the fuselage needs to be longer as well so maybe it is a complete new tooling! Just my two cents 😆 cheers, Jan
  8. Still looking nice , I use the stynylrez gray as neutral gray as it has the same tone and that works for me 😉 cheers, Jan
  9. Hmmmm choices, it is indeed not easy to do the cockpit window…but on the other hand the shape is not complicated. You can plunge form it with vivak sheet if you are able to make a master! And on the other hand would someone bother if you left the roof as it is and still do that scheme on it 🙃
  10. The pioneer kit has correct windows but the plane you are trying to model is a modified Beech 18 with a higher than standard roof and windows . cheers, Jan
  11. Simple solution is to buy Revell Contacta clear works in the same way but better…..this is my to go glue for windows and PE! Used to have the Microscale one, but i don’t use is anylonger . The Revell one is removable with ipa and it has a better grip. cheers, Jan
  12. They probably make nice sets but they don’t have any pics to show for the Belgian one which is a pity.. Probably they are not in the marketing business 😉 cheers, Jan
  13. Not cheap but the bottles are 18ml each …they have potential and a perfect gift to some who just starts with the hobby … cheers, Jan
  14. Now that’s a proper B24 you don’t see them often build 🏆 Compliments to the chef 😉 cheers, Jan
  15. That’s a very nice Tie fighter I like the colors and weathering 😃those Bandai kits are super 👌 Cheers, Jan
  16. Still a very good opportunity to see such a special aircraft from the inside 😀
  17. The one in Norway from the lake is a very correct resto and better than what I have seen before (I have flown at least two in my life D-CDLH Ju52 and HB-HOY which is a Casa 352) still place my bett on that Ju 🙃 cheers, Jan
  18. When building the Roman nose you can confidently put the three bladed props on and the tanks were used when flying non combat missions. I have the Wayne Mutza’s gunship book somewhere in my book stash but unfortunately not at hand . https://www.f-16.net/forum/download/file.php?id=23503&sid=f9288ff73f760527bd08e6cf91cb8cd5&mode=view https://www.f-16.net/forum/download/file.php?id=23464&sid=f9288ff73f760527bd08e6cf91cb8cd5&mode=view https://www.c-130.net/g3/c-130-photos/North-American-C-130-Photos/USAF-C-130/051128-F-1234P-061 https://www.c-130.net/g3/c-130-photos/North-American-C-130-Photos/USAF-C-130/051128-F-1234P-060 https://www.c-130.net/g3/c-130-photos/North-American-C-130-Photos/USAF-C-130/051128-F-1234P-064 https://www.c-130.net/g3/c-130-photos/North-American-C-130-Photos/USAF-C-130/DSC_4809-0 cheers, Jan
  19. I am with you on that one given the fact what they have produced up till now to replace all those old molds! cheers, Jan
  20. You are good too go 😀 with those sets you have what you need .. I only can say check your references for the smaller details ! Interested to see how that A conversion fits on the Zvezda . cheers, Jan
  21. That’s a very nice Connie straight out of the box, great job on the foil that looks terrific 👍 cheers, Jan
  22. Strange to see that platinum U-boat VII/C41 in 1/72 in their catalogue as it was on sale in November ‘23 for just 86 euro’s on their website! I really do not understand their marketing at all.
