  1. All good points - and I agree I obviously transported myself into the super-8 era somewhere along the line - I think it calls for a correction. Thanks for the comments and for looking! CF
  2. Well, it was a hard call, but I wasn't happy with the look (i.e. paint job, etc.) down the other side of the plane. The periscope was custom and looked a little too chunky, and a few other factors. Thanks for the message! CF
  3. Below is my take on the following photo of the Spirit of St Louis. While not the most technically complicated model, I found the challenge being to make a realistic looking toy-sized model of a somewhat toy-like looking full-sized plane. Thanks for looking. CF.
  4. Nice idea...and perfect explanation! Thanks and great job.
  5. Great work. Did you use the salt technique for the mottling on the panels and underside, or some other technique? Very nice!
  6. very nice work indeed! great colour scheme.
  7. very very nice work! looks great
  8. Excellent build. I am not sure how I missed it when you first posted! I see some 1/24 Typhoons have the exterior panels alongside the cockpit open (as you do) and others do not. Is this a build option? or have you scratch built the cockpit details and cut out the panels? Fantastic build again and thanks for sharing.
  9. well done. with your obvious passion for rigging I would have expected to find you work in the marine section - do you have a spanish galleon on the bench?
  10. excellent! who would be crazy enough to test fly that thing...??
  11. really nice! excellent effects. What speed did you estimate it would be travelling through the ice?
  12. really nice work! fantastic looking plane. well done.
