  1. I liked the way they placed the parts in such an organized approach, to me it gives a professional look. Speaking of environmental issues, I do not think a limited edition kit's piece of extra sponge would add too much to the assembly instructions printed on paper of millions of kits produced every year. I have ordered two kits and please do not make me feel guilty for being a cause of the climate change
  2. A fresh tooled Herc is always welcome in any scale, but I'd rather have it in 48th to replace the Italeri kit. So many details could be achieved on such a kit with today's tooling approach.
  3. I had a reservation for two kits, one I planned as red and the other as white. If it's coming out that good I would like to keep one always in the stash so now I'm seriously considering a third one
  4. Thanks. Probably could have been interesting and even better under natural light as you suggested, but the model's already gone as it was a long-promised gift.
  5. It seems I'm stuck with props. I liked it much better this time, though. Masking and painting the underside was a bit exhausting but it came out better than I expected... Famous (or notorious?) Dora here, in 32nd scale from Hasegawa. The kit needs no introduction but the aircraft does I think. The entire squadron JV44 have their aircraft painted red with white stripes underside, and it is really amazing to have spared the time and effort for that in 1944-45. This is Red 1 flown by Leutnant Heinz "Heino" Sachsenberg in 1945. "Verkauft's mei Gwand, I fahr in Himmel" reads on the fuselage, which is a part of lyrics wrtitten to a Johann Strauss melody. All-black Luftwaffe crosses underside are also of note... Thanks for looking. I will return to my jets now
  6. Most beautiful aircraft to me. Wonderful model, such a great rendition of that magnificent airplane. May I suggest that you add mirrors to the canopy to make it look even better?
  7. Splendid build, considering what you've turned that resin kit into. Very good job and grat looking model.
  8. You've done a great job, assembling all those parts to become a lovely model. Must have been really hard but all the effort seems to have paid off, congratulations.
  9. Great Mig-21 and a superb craftmanship ! I could say it's 48th or even 32nd, if you had not noted the scale on the topic. Wonderful work really.
  10. Magnificent build. A great collection of Harriers there as well ...
  11. That is an IMPRESSIVE fleet of aircraft ! Great job, congratulations on such a great collection.
  12. Thanks for the praise, so kind of you. I would call myself an average modeller, though, just with a bit of improved hand after a few hundred models built.
  13. Yes, you've got good eye I painted the Luftwaffe markings only, others are decals.
  14. I had not gone into the history of the plane assuming many -even if not all- here knows whom it belonged to. Still, it would be nice to have noted I see, so thanks for the reminder...
  15. My latest work, Bf 109G-14 in 32nd scale. Nice and smooth kit of Hasegawa, pretty straight build with no major issues, built in about three weeks, simultaneously with some other jet builds which in fact are my natural environment I've built 400+ models so far but not many WWII planes and props, let alone Bf109s and built this for a dear friend on request and he's happy so am I. Hope you like it, too... Speedy
  16. Great details at: www.facebook.com/JETMADS2016/
  17. One of the REAL jets... And a very good looking model of it!
  18. That is a modelling ability to be saluted !! Great model indeed.
  19. Not only the model is great but also are the photos... I liked the way you've treated the exhaust burns.
  20. What else would you expect of a good F-111 model... Looks great !
  21. I painted the black first, to use it for shading as well. Once the black was done, I sprayed the gray and removed the mask. Then sprayed a little bit gray on some edges of black mottles to break the sharp lines and achieve a Luftwaffe paint technique effect.
